no reason to hold it from her since she
was going to find out eventually(im

blunt and just tkae what ever they dish
out..You made the choice to have
sex..Thats what I told my self when I told
grammy..I hope I helped...Much hugs and
kisses

I agree with dejanee. You should just be
blunt, and honestly you may be surprised
at there reaction. I told my mom first,
and I was scared to death. I told my dad
last and he didnt take it as well as my
mom. But either way you have to tell
them..They will know one way or the other.
Good luck to ya, and take care :)

I was up front and honest with my mom...
It was during the hurricanes in new
orleans so I had to call her cause I was
still in louisiana ( laplace ) a small
town right outside new orleans. I called
he told her not to get to upset and that I
was pregnant. She was just like are you
sure..Asked me if I was ok and that was
that. Since then she has been really
supportive.

I think its better the sooner you tell
them also..My brother got mad at me for
waiting ..(he found out through a
friend)..Although my aunt she knew all
along ..She said she could
tell..(instinct)..Just be true and tell
them straight up how you feel and they
should be angry at first but soon they
will become happy and supportive of your
decisions..

I know its going to be hard but you have
to tell ur mom better sooner than later
your mom may be mad just let her vent
and give her some space and shell warm up
to the idea of a granchild, I got pregnant
when I was 17, I was living with an
abusive bf and my parents dragged me back
home and grounded me for eternity, my dad
came downstairs and said what is wrong
with you I told him I was pregnant.
Anyways I lost the baby because of the
meds I was on it had stopped growing at
7/8 weeks they figure.
What im trying to get across is talk to
your parents because if you want this
child and dont care you might end up in
the same sitiuation as me (i dont mean u
taking meds) but therte may be
complications and a dr may need to
prescribe something....
Good luck!

Whatever you do, don't make the same
mistake I did. I was a wreck and I was
too scared to tell anyone, so I figured
i'd just hide my pregnancy until the baby
was born and no one would know the
difference. Luckily, I found this site
and these girls talked some sense into me
but by then I was about 6 months pregnant
already. So basically what i'm saying
is... Tell them as soon as possible. I
had my youth pastor help me when I told my
parents. Maybe you can find someone to
come with you. It helps to have that
extra strength and support behind you.
Best of luck!

I was 19 when I told my parents I was
pregnant. It was the scariest day of my
life. I called my mom (cuz she lived 2
hrs away) and said, "guess what..." and I
was silent... And still debating to tell
her or not... But then I blurted out,
"i'm pregnant." at that moment, I swear, I
felt like a million tons of weight just
lifted off my shoulders. O, trust me, it
was damn scary, but also felt so good.
Her and my dad didn't take it too well,
they were pushing for an abortion. They
kind of swung between being supportive and
not. That whole week, all I did was cry,
because my parents were arguing with my
boyfriend constantly about different
matters like marriage and moving back in
with them etc. But finally, they are
starting to become more and more
supportive and even starting to get a
little bit excited about the baby. They
will never end up being like my bf's
parents who's been crazy supportive and
loving from day one. But there is no way
I can not tell them, and i'm glad I did.
O.. The only regret, I told simon's
parents months before I told my mom.
When she found that out. She was
unimpressed.
What I am guessing is... You are more
afraid of what disappointing your parents,
and letting them down. Or maybe that
telling your parents in a way, is hitting
reality. And they will hit you with a
bunch of truths (like finances and the
future) that you are afriad to hear.
Let me know how it goes... Best of
luck.
Remember, they are your parents and they
will love you no matter what.

Yea well im 16 and 6 months preggo and I
think its best to just be straight forward
and try to tell them as soon as possible
at first they might be very upset but in
the end once they see wat a beautiful
thing has happened then they'll be happier
my parents were really upset especially my
dad but now evrything is great he even
talks to my tummy its sooo cute. Well
good luck and hopefully evrthing goes good

I just came right out and told my mom I
was pregnant...She was so pissed and she
gave me that look like she wanted to kill
me.Lol but she is fine with it now and im
24 weeks.
You could always try going to your mom and
asking her at what age did she want to
begome a gradmother, the say opes srry.
Thats what my friend did.
