How much weight did you all gain throughout your pregnancies?
Did you gain more with your first compared to your second?
At what point in your pregnancy did you gain the most weight?

i gained 27 pounds.. I gained weight throughout my pregnancy..But on my 5 month I gained 10 pounds ..So I would have to say that was the most at one time I gained during the whole pregnancy..I gained and then lost ..The whole time though..But im not sure about the second child ...Because I have only had one ..But I have always heard that you always gain more with your second and its harder to lose weight with your second..But not sure about that last part just what I heard lol

Well ive put on sooo much weight its not funny but my ob tells me its all fine because I was too thin to begin with...
I put on 61pounds and ive still got 4 weeks to go!
Also its not always 'fat' I have alot of water retention, so bad that I cant walk which is most of the weight.
Ob says it will all be gone soon after baby is born... Lets hope! Im only 18 and I cnt stand looking in the mirror.

Has anyone else put on that much? Thats twice what everyone else has put on! :?

hey there!!.. I put on 65 lbs but went 42 weeks. I was soo huge.. I never thought I would ever go back to normal. I was 115lbs before pregnant, and went all the way to 180lbs. That don't look too hot on a small frame..Even if you are preggo

Wow, it sure does vary. I've gained just about 20 pounds so far, and i've still got 6 weeks to go. I wonder how much more i'll gain in that time.

I was waay underweight when I got preggy. I was weighing in at like 120 -125, and for me that was skinny. About 5/6 months prior to losing so much weight I was about 140-145.

My first dr's appt, I was 10 1/2 weeks, and weighed in at 132. At 23 weeks I was 158. I go back on the 1st of feb. And i'm positive i've gained more. My Dr. Wasn't concerned because it's all baby. I'm 26 1/2 weeks now and beating the war with stretch marks, that was the only thing that really concerned me.

So I guess it depends on where you gain it or how your metabolism is.

Yeah, stretch marks are gonna be war. But I can cover them up so it's ok!! It will be worth it. All my weight gain is in my stomach. My face didn't even puff up n' get chubby....Yet. My dr told me it was a good sign I could still wear my wedding ring as a lot of women this far along have so much swelling.
I had my Dr. Apt. Today with a different Dr. Than I regularly have and he seems to think the baby is head down. After the baby turns does it make it even more uncomfortable? For the past week i've felt so uncomfortable to sit down or even lay in bed. Thanks.

My ring used to turn....Now it makes an imprint in my finger. I take it off sometimes...I don't really like doing that though...But if my finger strats to look puffy above the ring..Then i'll take it off. So far I got a little chubby in the face..But that's common.

No cankles yet though!!!!! I'mm sure they'll be on their way!!

How much weight have I gained in my pregnancy?
I am 32 weeks and i've gained 6 pounds.....I lost 5 lbs in the first 4 months and since have gained that 5 and 6 additional, so from where I started the pregnancy I've gained 6 pounds, 11 lbs. from the lowest weight. My dr isn't worried tho because my last ultrasound said the baby himself is roughly 4 lbs. 11 oz. and 16 1/2 inches, which is actually big for gestational age.

I gained 59 lbs. with my 1st baby 3 years ago, but I was under weight starting that pregnancy. I never lost the baby weight after having him either. I was slightly over weight starting this pregnancy which plays an important role on weight gain & what is healthy weight gain.
