Hey,

well first off, congrats on your son!! You must be very excited. The contractions will depend on what type of labor you have. Example, back labor can feel like extreme back pain and regular labor feels like your stomache is tightening up. You will definitely know what it is when it happens because it is unmistakable.... Lol

email me if you want to chat. Wish you the best of luck and god bless you...

Pat has serious issues! Pat you are a rude and evil person! Evil is the only word to describe you. You must have absolutley no life and no friends because you waste a lot of time talking garbage to people you do not even know! You must love us all because you hang out here more than any of us!! Laughing

stephy, good luck with the labor and your baby will be beautiful and is blessed to have a mother like you who is concerned that all goes well!

False labor contractions will just feel like your stomache tightening. It might be uncomfortable, but not necessarily painful. If it is and the pain is relieved by switching positions, more than likely it is false labor.

Real labor contractions can vary. You can start out in a lot of pain or with some mild cramping. Some will feel like mild cramping with your stomache tightening slightly. Some will feel like severe menstrual cramps and your stomache will feel very tight.

Hope that helps.
