I have had intermittent leg pain for
around 2 months in the right leg. It comes
and goes for a few days, and the degree
and area of pain varies. Also the time is
random, coming while sitting, walking,
whatever. I have always been worried
about a dvt. I have had blood work and the
d dimer was high but I believe the others
were normal, if that helps. i am always
worried about my health, but not sure if
it is anxiety disorder or not. is it
possible to have dvt for months with no
complications or outward signs?
Deep-Vein Thrombosis (DVT) is a very
serious and even a life-threatening
disease. Massive thrombosis (blood
coagulation) occurs in the deep veins of
the legs. It is accompanied by great and
constant pain, swelling and temperature,
and redness/cyanosis in the affected leg.
If a minor thrombus separates from the
main thrombus in leg, it can become
complicated with a life threatening
thrombus-embolism in lungs. I’m not sure
about your anxiety but I am certain that
you aren't experiencing DVT.
