Can You Get Mono For the First Time Later In Life? Posted: 01-27-06 13:06pm
I'm 43 and have all the symptoms of mono.
Doc just took blood tests and am waiting
for results. Are there any afflictions
that mimic mono but is not caused by the
ebv? My symptoms: headache, swollen
glands (over 4 weeks now), sinus
congestion, achy body...All over, sore
throat, some indigestion, lack of appetite
and the worst...Extreme fatigue. My
daughter has the ebv in her and had a case
of mono last year. Can some people be
immune to the ebv going full blast because
I am worried about my husband catching it.
Thanks for any comments.
