Lol I am 34 weeks and I want another ultraound really bad before I have this baby...I miss being able to see her!! Plus I had 3d imaging done at 19 and a half weeks and I want one more to compare...I've had my share of ultrasounds due to random intense pain that they could not find a cause for and also because the baby was or I guess is at risk of down syndrome...But so far everything with the baby is perfect, and my ob says that she only ever scheduals one and doesn't do anymore unless she thinks there is a problem (i've had 4). I am so depressed...I know it sounds bad but I really want one more...Lol gah I just needed to vent my frusteration. I've been experiancing some pains and weird feelings so I have a feeling within the next few weeks I am going to have this baby...But who knows I could be wrong, lol.

If anyone has any suggestions lol let me know.

If u couldn't get the ultrascan with this doctor, try another doctor. I thought docs would be understanding. As long as u r paying, they could do the scans. Since u are feeling pain, why isn't the doc doing the scans u need, n not getting down to the root cause of ur pain?

Heed another doctor's advice, if u can.

I go to my sisters school when I feel I need or really want an ultra sound. They have students that do them. It's here in houston texas they only do it one time a week and it's only from 9 am to 10 am. If anyone in texas would want to go and check it out it's alot of fun cause I mean reguardless your still getting to see ur child. Look up the school its called academy of health professions. Call them and see exactly when the day is that they do the ultra sounds and go check it out....Its really cool.

well this doctor is my ob...So I don't know... I could go to my family doctor and see if he would give me another one, but I doubt it. As for the random pains i've been having, i've had them throughout my pregnancy, very bad especially in the second trimester, and i've had a couple ultrasounds to find the cause of the pain. But as far as the doctors and ultrasound techs could see, nothing was wrong, the baby was fine, and so was i...So now I am on bedrest and my ob thinks that it is due to the fact of the baby growing and my muscles stretching...Being on bedrest has helped greatly! But now I am starting to get new kinds of pain, which I have a feeling are labour related and they're not really bad...So I dunno, I haven't told her as I have an appointment this coming tuesday. As for paying for the ultrasounds....The money doesn't come directly out of my pocket since it is covered by canadian healthcare.

Here is my website of them just hit gallery ..But yeah my doctor only did two u/s when I was pregnant..And I went and paid for the 3d 4d...Which was very expensive..

Go to AnE and say you havent felt the baby move in over 24 hours. They will do another ultra sound to make sure everything is ok, my cousin did it when she was pregnant. Naughty, but a way of getting what you want lol Very Happy. Good luck with your pregnancy and new baby! Very Happy x
