Why do Results of Heart Catherization Require Medication?

i had a heart catherization and was told that no blockages was seen,but what was seen could be treated with medication,my question"what could have been seen that would require medication?" i have also been diagnosed with "hardening of the arteries" in previous examination.

If there were small occlusions of the coronary blood vessels, angioplastic intervention is not recommended; instead, medications could be useful. The heart chambers could be enlarged as a result of chronic heart disease; this would also require pharmaceutical drugs. Hardening of the arteries (arteriosclerosis) means that the walls of the blood vessels have become inelastic ; there is too much calcium present.
