What Kind of Problem Is This...? (please Reply...) Posted: 01-29-06 07:10am
Please reply soon before nightfall
today.
(it's 6:03am right now)
just incase, for people in a different
time zone.
I started taking albuterol 3 days ago.
This is my 4th day.
Yesterday, I woke up at 5:30am, just like
this, being unable to breathe.
It felt like there was an elephant
standing on my chest, but no pain.
I just couldn't breathe.
It calms down for a little while if i'm
awake.
I still cant breathe, though, I just
wheeze and it feels like a baby elephant
is on my chest, or something.
It just scares me because I think i'm not
going to make it through the night or
something.
I have anxiety attacks too, i'm the kind
of person that worries a lot, but I dont
think this is something my mind made up.
I'm not sure if it's just a side effect of
albuterol or something else.
I dont really have asthma, I just wheeze a
lot.
Mostly when i'm at my house, which is why
i'm taking it.
Well, of course, it's flu season, but this
doesn't feel like a/the flu.
I dont think it's part of a cold my mother
gave me...
Because she just has a sore throat...
...She gave it to me, and I got
laryngitus...
...
If someone knows what's going on, please
tell me. :\

It really sounds like vcd (vocal cord
dysfunction) try and google - doctors who
treat vcd and read up! Good luck!
I hope you are doing better!??
