I'm a 19 year old, scared and alone,
college student. I haven't taken a
pregnancy test yet (i am on tuesday).
But i've had all the early symptoms: late
period (now 3 weeks late), nausea, tired,
change in appetite. I just have the gut
feeling that I am pregnant and so i've
been doing a lot of thinking the past week
or 2.
I'm a struggling college student who
cannot afford an abortion nor do I want to
tell my parents because I already feel
like a huge disappointment and I don't
want to let them down or burden them. I
just keep replaying how my mom might react
and how hurt she'd be if I told her.
i'm wondering what kind (if any) of
financial aid options are available for
abortions?

Everything in life is your choice but the
the paths that you take may have
consequences, honestly look into all your
choices first before being stuck on one.
I know this is a hard time but sometimes
things change for the better I know they
dont have finacial aid for abortions but
they do if you plan too keep it and want
to attecnd school. Adoption is also
available that way you know your child
will be in a place where someone can
financially and mentally take care of
it..
What you do in the end is your choice
abortion is a big step especially when you
havent looked into other things and you
may regret it after some people do some
dont do what you want.
~good luck~

There is an abortion forum where you may
get more support than in the pregnancy
forums.

I'm not sure. I think it varies state to
state/province to province. I would call
the clinic and ask, they should know.
That's the only thing I can suggest.
Good luck. I'm sorry about the idiots
here who can't even answer a simple
question and feel the need to cram their
self-righteous opinions down everyone's
throat 24 hours a day.

this is the website to the national
association of abortion funds
http://countercrisis.Org
the website for counter crisis.. They
have resources available to find out lots
of funds you may qualify for.
*** most abortion clinics offer students
discounts with id card.
*** some states like california have
medicaid which will pay for an abortion if
you are low income enough.. There are
other states which have medicaid that pays
for them.
*** if you are a new orleans victim you
can get an abortion for free at many
clinics.
