How Far Along Were You.. Posted: 01-30-06 22:21pm
Hey guys. I found out about a month ago
that I was expecting. As of right now,
i'm 10 weeks and 2 days. I wanted to
know, about how far along were you until
you actually felt and looked as though you
were pregnant? Because as of right now,
i'm gaining weight but I feel like I just
look like that.. Like i'm gaining weight
and not appearing pregnant. So how long
until the 'dominant' features like the
actual shape of the pregnant belly begin
to show?
I found out at 3.5 weeks. I started
gaining weight immediately but didn't
really show until I was about 3-4 months.
A lot of the showing part depends on your
physical appearance... If you're bigger
then you usually don't show as early. If
you're thin, you normally show earlier.
As far as feeling pregnant, I felt
pregnant right away. Lol, that's how I
found out so early. I have pregnancy
symptoms really early. I have to start
wearing an underwire bra with a sports bra
over it almost from the beginning because
my breasts are so sore, fatigue,
dizziness, etc. Congratulations!
With brian I found out at 5
weeks----started to show at 3 1/2
months........With jordan I found out at 4
1/2 weeks----started to show at 4 months.

I started showin straight away and I didnt
have a clue I was pregnant but I was
puttin weight on im 19 wks today and look
8 months pregnant

I knew right away I was pregnant with
elisa I guess instinct and same with the
second as for test wise with elisa I didnt
know till first missed period officially
and 21/2 months this time cause all the
test kept coming back negative. With
elisa I start showing at the end of 7
months and this one 7/8 it depends on your
structure I have big bones and can carry
my weight differently..

I felt pregnant immediately. I mean
immediately. My subsconscious was like
you're pregnant chick but my brain was
like not possible. As far suckers around
four months and it's my first baby.
Being skinny is so not an advantage in
that department cuz I wanted to hide it
for awhile (job reasons)

Thank you all so much for the responses.
It was nice to wake up this morning and
see that so many of you had actually
replied!
I guess i'm just going to have to wait a
little longer until I actually start to
show. I'm 5'2 and usually my weight is
130 - so I guess that is a factor I have
to consider.
I'm really happy I decided to join this
site. I feel as though you all can offer
a lot of support and advice - which is
exactly what I need at this point to calm
all of my emotions and worries. It's
hard being a 17 year old that's still in
school and pregnant, but with everyones
support.. It's going to be an awesome
experience.
