First Appointment Posted: 01-31-06 17:13pm
Just got home from my first appointment.
I'm 10 weeks, 3 days in with a due date of
august 30.
Baby's healthy and active... Doc says
he/she is moving around a lot, thought I
can't feel it yet... Or maybe I was just
mistaking it as cramps. Lol
anyway, I feel so much better now that I
know everything's ok. I'm going to call
my mom tonight to tell her that
everything's fine. And if she starts in
on me again, i'm just telling her I can't
talk to her and hanging up.

Congrats hunny! Glad to hear its all
going well.. And I agree, just hang up on
your mom if shes rude---show her the same
respect she's showing you. I'm sure
eventually she'll come around...So for now
concentrate on the good...This baby, this
life, that you and ur bf have created!!!
Congrats again!

Aww, congrats! I'm glad to hear that you
and baby are doing well.
Good luck with your mom tonight. Just
remind her that you and your boyfriend are
very happy about having a baby. Sooner or
later, she'll share in that happiness.
But stand your ground; after all, you're
not their "baby girl" anymore! You're
going to be a mommy!

How exciting eh?? It is a big relief to
find out everything is good, and you're
far enough that next time you'll get to
hear your lil ones heart beat!
You're due the day before my birthday!!!
Good luck with your mom tonihgt, let us
know if she yells again.

I tried to call my mom's cell phone, but
she didn't answer. My guess is she's at
home and the phone is in the car.
However, i'm not calling the house because
I don't want to talk to my dad.
Anyway, i'm doing well. And i'm getting
really excited. We even were able to see
the heartbeat. It was so cool!!

10 weeks 3 days?! Same as me! Oh, how
exciting!!
Although, my due date is august 26th.
Isn't it amazing how touched you can be by
something so time by even just hearing the
heartbeat?
I go back to the ob next friday, so i'm
hoping everything comes out ok.
I've been worried sick hearing all of
these miscarriage stories.
I'm glad everything went well!

I'm sure everything is fine with you, too.
:)
she originally gave me a due date of
august 26 (when she did the ultrasound),
but she changed it based on my last
period.
I go back monday, but my boyfriend mad the
appointment while I was in the bathroom
and i'm supposed to go at 2... When I
have to be at work at 3. So I might see
if I can get in earlier or maybe early
tuesday. Or... Maybe i'll just tell my
boss to deal with it, i'll be late. Hehe.
