How Long B4 You Got a Bfp After O? Posted: 01-31-06 21:47pm
Just wondering how long it took for
everyone to get a positive result on a
hpt? I am about 23 dpo (i am not sure
exactly when I o'd...Possibly jan 8th) and
I tested and did not get a clear result.
I got a very, very, very faint positive
after several minutes. It was so faint I
wasn't sure if I was imagining it so I had
to ask dh for confirmation. I'm gonna
test again in several days (first thing in
the morning this time) and hope for a
clear result. To see what my symptoms
are...Check out post titled 'strange
bleeding. Could I still be preggo?'.
Thanks for the input ladies! :-)

Yeah my first test had 2 lines but very
faint. I wasnt sure enough either so I
just waited a week and there it waws. If
you take another one and ur still not
sure, get the test that shows "pregnant"
or "not pregnant" I thing it is called
clear blue or something like that. You
can even take the one that shows 5 days
before your missed period that is the one
I took on the 2 nd try, it is called first
response. Hope you well.

Hi with my daughter I tested 4 days before
I was due with first response and got a
faint positive.
With my son I tested when my peroid was
due with a cheap test and got negative
then I tested 2 weeks later with first
response (when I was 6 weeks pregnant) and
got a definate positive.
It depends really on how much hcg your
body is producing at the time of the test.
Hope this helps
