Ed In a 27 Year Old Male, Health Related? Posted: 02-01-06 03:04am
Hi all, I am hoping that I can find some
advice about my boyfriend on this forum.
I have been doing alot of reading online
about ed, and from almost all articles and
websites I have seen, ed is not very
common in younger men at all. One of the
sites I saw said that less than 2% of
males experience ed before age 40.
My boyfriend and I have been together for
almost 6 months now. Prior to myself he
has only been with one other woman
sexually, which was about 6-7 years ago.
I would say about 98% of our intimate time
together he experiences ed. Cannot get or
maintain an erection, or loses it in the
middle of intercourse. Along with
ejaculating almost always in less than 2
minutes. I have been very understanding
and supportive of his problem, and I want
to be able to help him in anyway I can.
The thing that scares me is his age, and
from what I read this should not be
occurring as often as it does in someone
his age.
My boyfriend is a little overweight,
nothing out of control. He is not fat at
all, but could stand to lose I would say
about 15- 20 pounds. He does not smoke,
does not and has never drank alcohol, has
never done drugs. He ate entirely to much
sugar and sweets before we moved in
together, which he has dramaticaly
reduced. He also drank alot of caffiene
and soda before, which he has cut back on,
and cut caffiene completely out of his
life. He is not on any kind of
medications at all, or any type of
supplements. He is a police officer, but
he handles the stress of his job, and life
in general better than anyone I have ever
seen. He rarely has a bad day, or gets in
a bad mood. He handles stress of every
kind in a very calm manner. One thing to
mention is that at night when we lay down,
he often has what I believe is called
restless leg syndrome? Where your legs
and feet cannot stay still. I usually
will massage his legs for a minute or two
and it goes away.
I am very worried that his ed could be
caused by some kind of health issues. We
are going to set up a doctor appt for him
as soon as possible. Any input or advice
you folks may have would be much
appreciated.
