I am 31 weeks pregnant and I when I go to the bathroom my urine is cloudy. Could this be amniotic fluid leaking out?

I am also 31.3 weeks, due april 1st. You?

The cloudy could be from urinary tract infection, or protein spilling from high blood pressure. Do you have high blood pressure with this pregnancy?

You need to tell your doctor, maybe call him, if it is awhile til next visit. Could be very important. Let me know what he says--okay?

i have that also and I have protien in my urine...Or I did...They have stopped mentioning it but I still have fairly cloudy pee. My blood pressure is fine though, so it's just something they keep an eye out on.

Yes, the protein spilling could be from kidney damage(from the high blood pressure) or from diabeties. I have it from the kidney disease I have, I have always spilled protein, but they try and blame on my diabeties, I say no--had this all my life, (well, since 7 yrs old anyway). There is also that condition with pregnancy, (toxemia I believe it is called) with elevated pressures, and protein spilling. Right??
