My sister just found out that she is pregnant but she already has three children and she is pretty scared and she wants to have an abortion but sdoesnt know what to expect I just wanted to know what can I tell her to comfort her pleas help me

Hi there! Just stand by her and try to be an understanding sister and let her talk. Be there for her as it is her choice and she is the only one who can make it! Good luck to you both! We are here for you both too!

Yes, be there for her and let her know that you care! Basically the actual abortion only takes 3-5 minutes or less... But there is a lot of waiting, and peperwork and labs ect. I reccommend the "good drugs" that a clinic may have, such as iv sedation , twilight, or general anesthesia.(totally asleep). These drugs can make the abortion as painless as possible, and she will be very comfortable. If she does not choose the good drugs, she can expect cramping that is like very heavy heavy menstrual cramps, but it only lasts for a few minutes. My advice is be there for her because she will go through quite alot of emotional stuff guilty,sadness etc for the next few weeks,months even years. I am still coming to terms with my emotions 18 months later.

Edit for a deleted post nice to see women who support each other not. Lilmsnick take no notice of sunshine424 she is only a small minded person who thinks by being hurtful it makes her look big. Your sister did what she needed to do for her. None of us knows the fully story she maybe on her own because her partner has gone but what ever reason is her buisness and she doesn't need small minded people knocking her. From what I can see lilmsnick sister is not one of these women who get pregnant over and over and think that abortion is the answer. Those women you should start on.
