Breast Implants And Pregnancy Posted: 02-02-06 23:16pm
Hi! I'm new and this is kind of a random
question but ive been looking online and I
can't find an answer anywhere. I know all
about breastfeeding with implants and all
of that but I was wondering if its any
different during pregnancy if you have
them? Like more or less soreness?
Ummm..... Are you a pregnant teen with
implants???

Oops.. Probably should have clarified
that lol. Ok so my name is elizabeth, i'm
19, yes I have implants I got them in
august and I just found out a week ago
that i'm pregnant :) which i'm excited
about, it wasn't planned but I have a
supportive boyfriend of almost 3 years who
is completely ready to step up and be
there. Thats a little more than you asked
lol but sorry for not clearing all that up
at first!!
If you click on health forums above, scroll
down and click on plastic
surgery.... They may have some
answers for you.
Good luck!

You will be able to breastfeed, but your
boobs will take a mahor hit and not look
good at all..You would definately need to
get them redone. I am 23 , nurse,
implants, no kids.

"according to the institute of medicine
(iom), any kind of breast surgery,
including breast implant surgery, makes it
at least three times more likely that a
woman trying to breastfeed will have an
inadequate milk supply (lactation
insufficiency). More here
