Hey, i'm an 18 year old boy. About 2
years ago I started feeling strange pains
in my right testis. They were not
severe. I didn't pay much attention.
Then after a few months, I started feeling
pressure in the area where I thought my
right kidney was. There were no pains
just pressure in that area. Also I would
feel these burning pains in my right
groin, above the bladder area. I went to
a urologist and had an ultrasound. It
was clear. The problem worsened and I
started to feel another problem. I
started feeling a little numbness and pain
in my right thighs and lower leg. The
doctors advised me to excersice and stuff
but that didn't help. Then a few months
later I started feeling pressure in my
chest where I thought my heart was. It
was accompanied by mild pain in my right
arm. The real problems were still to
come! Shortly after, one evening I
started feeling this wierd feeling on my
right face and head. It was as if the
muscles of my right face were exhausted
and very weak. I felt a little pressure
behind my right eye and a little
tenderness and heaviness in my right head.
I thought it was just some headache and
it would soon go but it didn't. A few
months later, I suffered from severe acnes
on my right face and I used to feel a lot
of heat on my right side. A few months
later I found out that my right face hade
sort of drooped down a bit. I became
really really worried and suffered from
severe enxiety and depression. I also
felt twitches around my right eye and on
the face. I went to a neurologyst,
psychiatrist, and a skin specialyst, but
nothing came out of it. During all this
time the problem has gradually worsened
and also the kidney and heart pressure are
still present but the kidney problem seems
to have been improving. I had an mri but
it was crystal clear. Since the doctors
were not much help and spending a
depressed 2 years with this thing, I
started doing things on my own for example
linking the facial muscular weakness with
the kidney pressure since this seemed the
only reasonable explaination. Right now,
i'm in a depressed situation with all hope
lost and would like to find a diagnosis
for my problem. Any body out there with
any suggestions please help me!! :( :(

Hi
i`ve had similar symptoms to yours. I had
facial drooping,twitching, numbness,
headaches, palpitations, heat especially
in my head and in my face. I was told I
did have a viral illness that went into my
spinal fluid but I myself had made the
situation a lot worse with my anxiety.
The minute I knew I wasn`t dying I felt
betetr already.
I was so low and depressed and constantly
anxious. I went to hell and back again.
Looking back, focusing on my symptoms made
everything so much worse. I did have
pains all over my body and like you all my
scans came back clear and I realised my
own thoughts were making me feel worse.
