Pregnant? Not Pregnant? Hellllllllp! Posted: 02-03-06 09:13am
I'd really love any advice!
The last time I had a period was 22nd
december last year, we've been trying for
a baby so me not coming on was - at first
- really great! But now it's 3rd feb and
i've had loads of negative pregnancy test
results, i've tried lots of different
brands and even first response! I feel
sick, have a faint line down my belly, my
food taste has gone wild, I can smell
everything! And i'm so so tired (and
emotional!), and I generally feel weird.
But really, shouldn't I be getting a
positive result by now? I was due on
Please help, i'm worried something's
wrong. I've visited my doctor, but
because i'm not in any pain he says to
wait a few weeks and do another test! I
can't wait that long! Would a blood test
help? Thanks alot! :? :)

Lots of ppl on here have said they were
4-6 weeks before getting a possitive
test...Some women never do get +++...So
you probably should go get a blood test.
Since hpt only work if you have a certain
amount of hcg in ur body (usualy 25-50ug)
to trigger the ++ to show up... And blood
test see how much exactly you have. So
yes, a blood test would def. Be a good
idea.
Best of luck

My daughter, my daughter in law and
myself---all had to wait until 3 weeks
past missed period before it came out
positive. I know it seems like forever,
but if you are laready 2 weeks past--just
another week wont be so long---right??
And like surrender said some pple never
pass the .H.P.T. But blood test is a lot
more accurate, but some .Dr's dont like to
even do the blood test until confirmed on
.H.P.T.
You sure do sound pregnant to me--so just
hang in there. Try again in a week, if
still nothing make an appt with a .Dr.
That is my suggestion. Good luck and
.God bless
