Pregnancy Forum - Could It Be Twins?

Hello just wanted to ask anyone I am 14 weeks pregnant and went to an ultrasound for placenta previa about 3 days ago. We only saw one baby. It wasnt a doctor who did the appointment. Well we got home and noticed like a shadow of what seems to look like another baby. Then in the second picture you see the main baby then like a little head way in the upper right hand side. Is it possible ???? I am so nervous and anxious to know I hhave another appointment in about a week but I was just wondering what you guys though. Is it possible that if there is another that you only see the shadow?

Hi

did you have a 4d ultrasound, or a normal one?

I always find them so hard to understand, maybe you're looking at something else?

Do you have a picture of you scan that you could post?? Maybe a mum here who has had a twin pregnancy might be able to tell you.

Extremely eHealthy

It could just be the shadow of your plecenta....Or just the cavity wall...Never know. Take it to a professional and they can let you know.

I thought the same thing...But it was my bladder!! Lol..It totally looked like another head!! I had just peed right before the ultrasound and I kinda freaked..But of course..You can see your other organs on the ultrasound.

Don't panic...They would've picked up the heartbeat...
