Q: Trouble Sleeping!!!

I am 12 weeks today and for the past week I have not been sleeping well at all. I toss and turn all night in addition to getting up to go pee. Because of this, I have headaches all the time and it is affecting my work. Any suggestions on what to do?? I would give anything to take a swig of nyquil!!

I have never slept well since I got pregnant. First it was early am sickness starting around 4am followed now by the baby moving about around the same time.

I've had trouble sleeping throughout this whole pregnancy. It is safe to take unisom.

I have been told not to take sleep aids during pregnancy...However I was told that I could take benadrylle(spelling) to help relax me and my body. I am not so sure about the unisom check with your ob before taking anything.

Ditto---always check with .Dr first--i dont think unisom would be good for baby. My opinion only.

Warm milk, or nice warm bath may help

Hey Gurl..
Yeah I totally had that problem bad... It was horrible!! The dr ended up giving me a certain kind of med that was safe while I was pregnant and it knocks me out!!! It was affecting my work majorly. So if the pm dosent work, i'd talk to him. Wish ya luck liz.
