Hey! This is my first time having a baby
and I know it sounds silly but just a
question about diapers. I know huggies is
better than pampers, but how many newborn
diapers am I going to need b4 size 1-2? I
know it depends how big and fast they are
and grow but I dont have all the money in
the world so im starting to buy diapers
now and im due on sept.26 but just wanted
to know cuz the newbies come in packages
of 40. Thanks!!!

My sister has a boy and a girl and pampers
worked best for both....Huggies seemed to
smell really badly and pampers seemd to
just work best. However my cousin has a
girl and a boy and the huggies worked best
for the boy and the pampers for the girl.
I guess it's really your choice and you
have to see what works best for your
little skoot

I used pampers---this was 20 + years
ago--but the huggies made my kids get
rashy faster. Like they broke out from
the stuff in the diapers. I never used
generic diapers, but the past few years
both my kids have and do use generic
walmart diapers--and they work very well.

You only need on pack of huggies newborn
(there are up to 10 lbs) size one starts
at 8 lbs, I had two packs of huggie
newborn and only used one bag but buy 2
packages of size 1&2 for starters most
babies settle in size 3/4 for a while
longer.
As for diapers pampers never fit my
daughter right and I kept switching
between huggies and parents
choice(whatever fit elisa better) parent
choice is walmarts brand diapers and they
are extremely affordable and in the
beggininng work wonders. Besides that I
love huggies and they fit my daughter just
perfectly my daughter always leaked with
pampers and trust me having caca ruin
babys clothes and having it run down your
leg arent fun!!!
~good luck~

I'm a tried and true pampers gal. I
never liked huggies. Plus, they run
smaller. So they get outgrown faster,
which means you spend more money because
the bigger the size the fewer the diapers
in the package!!

Trey is allergic to huggies and I hate
pampers!!!!!!!!!!! Alot of moms from my
moms & tots hate them too cause they
leak. The pampers swaddlers are good but
my son was out of those in 2 weeks. I
use the parents choice kind from walmart
or lil tikes. They're cheaper than the
"name brands" and no leaking problems at
all!

I really like to use president choice
diapers. We put my stepson in them and
they worked great. They were cheap and
dependable.

Yeah I have used them all, and I like the
walmart brand too...The ones with
garfield.. I used the other "eqaute brand
from walmart, and they were terrible.
They had clifford on them. I buy just
whatever is on sale.

I just checked on epinions.Com and the
most popular disposable diaper by far is
by pampers brand. Here's how they're
rated...
Pampers swaddlers, pampers cruisers,
pampers premium, pampers first steps and
pampers pull ups (girls) all get four and
a half stars. Pampers pull ups for boys
get four stars.
Huggies overnites and goodnights get four
and a half stars. Huggies preemies,
ultra trims, pullups, convertibles get
three and a half stars. Huggies for
newborns get three.
Luvs ultra leakguard stretch are on the
list too with four stars.
I didn't see the walmart brand on there to
check for a rating.
