Headache.. Pill Side Effect? Posted: 02-07-06 18:14pm
I have recently gotten on a new kind of
birth control pill. It was about six
months ago. About these last 3 months or
so I have developed terrible headaches
almost everyday. Sharp pains that come
and go frequently.... They are very
distracting. They seem to get worse when
I am on my period. I do not have a
history of headaches. Has anyone else
ever had headaches as a side effect of the
pill.? If so, I would really appreciate
your story and absolutely any advice!!

I am about to start bc pills. From other
posts ive heard that you get bad
mirgraines and headaches. If its that bad
i'd call you doctor to make sure its
normal. If they are distracting you i'd
switch to something else. Good luck.

I get headaches alot. It's a normal side
effect...But if they are really bad then I
would tell your doctor and they can get
you on another type of pill that might
work with your body better.

Headaches and certian pills are common,
they should be able to put you on another
pill that has fewer headache related side
effects.
