So recently I was at the doctors and found
out I have a bladder infection. Ive never
had one before and I am 28 weeks right
now. Anyways, my sister had one before
and I know she was in alot of pain.. But
I apparently have one and never even knew
it? Sometimes mostly when I wake up in
the morning my lower stomach feels kinda
cramped.. But it does not hurt to go to
the bathroom or anything..
Having sex hurts tho.. And going to the
bathroom after sex hurts like a b****,
could this be from the bladder
infection??
Anyways, im rambling on basicly my main
question is, is this a normal thing to
happen during pregnancy? And does it
affect my baby at all?

Yeap, hurting when your using the bathroom
is defiently caused from the bladder
infection. I had one about ayear ago,
and it was horrible !!!! I would do just
about anything to keep from gonig to the
bathroom because it hurt. I also had one
as soon as I found out I was pregnant, and
it didnt hurt as bad, but I think its
because they caught it early. The best
thing for a bladder or any kind of uti, is
cranberry juice!!! It will clear it up in
no time flat, so ive been drinking a glass
a day since ive been pregnant, or at least
every other day! Hope ya get to feeling

I had one with my last pregnancy and never
knew it......My urine kindof smelled a bit
but I wasn't sure why (kinda gross) but I
wasn't in any pain. You bladder and
uterus isnt' connected in any way and
wouldnt' affect the baby.The dr will give
you some pills to take that will not
affect the baby. And will clear it up in
a few days. Just drink a lot of water
while taking these pills and after them
and cranberry juice (pure) will help clear
it up as well. It will clean out your
whole system too,kinda like a flush.
It's good to do for your body's system
anyway.

I used to get uti's all the time and now I
always have to pee after sex or I get one.
I got one when I was about 5 months
preggo and they gave me macrobid for it
and it cleared it right up. It is a very
common thing to get while preggo though.
I hadn't even had sex before getting mine.

Hey! I have had a bladder infection for
almost a year and it just went away!! So
I know allll about them! ..Unfortuantly..
Anyways, it hurt like a mother after I
went pee too, and during. Sometimes it
just hurts really bad when u go pee. And
at night time I would wake up cryiung in
pain felt like I had someone nstabbing me
in the crotch. So all that is bladder
infection stuff that I went thru. Hope
that helps sum
