Test Results From Ultrasound!!!! Posted: 02-09-06 12:21pm
I had my level 2 ultrasound and after
checking on the baby (heart, lungs, etc),
my doctor said everything looks good so
far. My question is, how accurate are
ultrasound results? I know they are not
100% guranteed but if the ultrasound
doesn't showsany abnormalities, does it
most likely means the baby will be ok at
birth? I cant help not worrying. Anyone
feel the same?

I know what you mean about the worrying...
And i'm sure everyone does it. I think
all the time, "what if my baby is born
with some sort of defect or problem?" it
doesn't mean i'd love him/her any less or
regret having him/her, just that we all
want our children to be as healthy and
happy as possible.
I'd imagine it's only natural to worry
about those things.

another thing that also bothers me is that
I dont know if it is because I wonder
about it so much that I had a bad dream
about having my baby at 4mths and somehow
the baby lived but he had 4 arms and could
not sit or anything as he got older he had
to be strapped to a chair it really scares
me I know it sounds crazy!!(what do you
think)

Everyone has freaky baby dreams. I'm at
24 weeks and last week I dreamed that my
baby was born at 24 weeks and the baby
wasn't going to make it without some kind
of donation from my husband but I couldn't
find him anywhere. Hmmm come to think
of it, never mind, it probably was worry
that gave you the freaky preggo dream.
Now that I analyze mine, it definitely
corresponds with a worry that I have

I haven't had any of the weird dreams yet,
but I read (i think somewhere on this
forum) that someone dreamed they had
puppies. Lol that's a little weird.
