My g/f just came from the clinic n her test came out postive..So she is basically bout 5weeks prego..But the funny thing is that she has some of the symptoms that you would normally get around your 4th or 5th month of being pregent...Some of the symptoms that she has is that her legs hurt a alot..Her chest itchs, back pains, stomach pains...Wel these are just some of the symptoms..Well my question is what can this meen if shes getting them so early....

Thank you very much for the help...

Well, are you sure she's five weeks pregnant? Or could she be farther along? I don't really think it's a big deal - some women get some of the symptoms earlier than others; but I think you would notice if she was four or five months pregnant, lol. :)

Every pregnancy is different. What she is experiencing is very normal.

Did they do a urine test or blood? If she had the blood test then they can tell by the hcg levels.. Have her ask the doctor about it.

Did she go to a doctor so she can find out for sure if she's five weeks? It's strange that she's showing already, but not unheard of.

She doesn't need to go with a parent. Just tell her to make an appointment with an obstetrician. If she's going to be a parnet, she needs to be responsible enough to go to the doctor.

It all depends.
1) how old are you?
2) how old is she?
3) do you have a job/are planning to get a job?
4) will she drop out of school?
5) do you have a place you can live if neither of your parents want you to live with them?
6) are you going to go to lamaze and prenatal with her?
7) are you emotionally ready to be supportive to her?
8) will your relationship be able to handle the emotional hormonal changes?
9) are you financially stable?
10) is it the best thing for your baby?

Number ten's the most important. Please consider all of these.

i understand your parents may not be happy with this but they can't just ignore it. You both should go to her doctor's together and figure out what you want to do next.
I don't know how old you both are but I just wanted to add that my husband and I have been together for 8 1/2 years. We began dating at 16. Anything is possible.

Good luck!

She should go to the doctors to see how far along she really is. Just because she stopped having her period in january, doesnt mean she isnt further along. She could be 4 months pregnant but still had a period during the first 2-3 months. Some women get their period throughout the whole pregnancy, my friend did for the first 6 months. Get her checked out.

Is it your actual period or is it just bleeding?
