Hey amazing steve: I can describe to you
what it is like for me, but a lot of it
depends on what kind you're on and how
your body reacts. For the most part, the
side effects aren't bad at all. I was
afraid of it making me sick to my stomach,
etc. When I first got on it, but it
didn't at all. The only thing I really
notice about the pill is that I am a
little more moody and emotional than I
used to be around my period than I used to
be, my breasts are a little tender the
week before, and I have worse cramps...
But thats about it... Nothin big. For
most women, the pill is suppsed to lessen
pain associated with your perid. I must
just be an odd ball. :) sometimes I get
headaches when I didn't used to. There
are more serious (but rare) side effects
associated with bc, like increased risk of
heart attack, stroke, blood clots, high
blood pressure, but its just a risk you
have to live with I guess. As long as
your gf is healthy and active... I really
wouldn't worry about those too much.
There are a couple of benefits too... The
pill can help clear up skin with acne,
possibly decreased your chances of cysts
and cervical cancer, and make periods more
regular. Its worth a try because she'll
never know how it will affect her until
she trys it. It makes for better sex and
is a lot better than worrying about a
baby. Hope this helps! Let me know if
you have any more questions!! :)

It depends on the person. I've tried
different kinds in the past and none of
them agreed w/me. The ones with higher
doses of hormones gave me problems
w/depression the ones with lower doses
made me spot continuously. Not to
mention that they all made me nauseous and
dizzy. So I pretty much gave up on it.
Too many side effects for me.
