Relief Finally!
Posted: 02-10-06 21:14pm

I was diagnosed about 10 years ago and have been on alot of the meds and have also totally changed my lifestyle, going vegetarian, and even then I was limited with the veggies I could eat. I tried taking vitamins and supplements and didn't feel anything and some of the vitamins made me sick. I found a company called pharmanex that developed a new technology that scans the body for antioxidant levels. I was interested in what my level would be since my body doesn't absorb any nutrients and I wasn't surprised when my scan came back super low. I started taking some vitamins scientifially formulated by the company to be absorbed at the molecular level and they also include the omega3 mentioned elsewhere on this site for relief with crohn's. My wife and I have both noticed an increase in my energy, my stomach doesn't hurt, and i'm spending less time in the bathroom (which means i'm getting less reading done!). I would recommend getting scanned to anyone, especially those with crohn's, to get a feel for where you are at. Antioxidants have been proven to help with a variety of ailments. I can help you find somewhere to get scanned if you are interested. Just e-mail me.

My boyfriend is 26 and has crohns and is not getting treatment because we lost our insurance after he got let go from work for being out sick from this disease too often and we cant get insurance on a pre existing condition and do not want to go back to kaiser as they are not doing anything about the situation. So any advice or info or even the supplements you are taking for this is very helpful, thank you

i'm curious to know in a case like this. If say this lady has medical insurance where she can add him, would that insurance cover his pre-existing condition? Or it can be denied as well?

I guess this person can go to to this clinical research studies or pledge the company for the meds? Can this person get medicaid?
