Hey girls... I was taken a shower and usually I squeeze each nipple and rub in a little milk just to keep from cracking and things like that... But just now I did it and there was blood along with some of the fluid... Has anyone ever experienced this and if so what is it...??? Is this normal..?

Maybe you shouldnt squeeze them. Not until the baby's here
use vaseline on them if they get cracked or dry, it really works.

Yeah dont squeeze them...I used some cream that is specifically for dried nipples...When breastfeeding...You can find the cream in the baby section at stores most the time..Its in with the breast pads and things like that...You squeezing them has probably irritated them and caused the bleeding...Not a good idea...

I have a book titled 'what to expect when you're expecting'. It indicates that if you experience bleeding from the nipples...You should contact your doctor the same day. I hope this helps...Don't stress yourself over this...It may turn out to be nothing...But you really should talk to your doctor asap.

Best of luck to you. :)

no problem. It's on page 117 under 'when to call the practitioner'.
I love this book! I don't think there's much in there that's not covered.
Let me know how everything turns out. :)
