Someone Help Me :(
Posted: 02-12-06 03:32am

I'm 17 years old, 265 about 5'11 (just incase that matters), I work..Thats about all the physical activity besides goin to stores and stuff. I cant sleep...It seems it got worse because even when im tired I cant sleep...It sucks so bad, im terrified to get hooked on ambien or anything but I cant stand laying there for over an hour and not being able to sleep. I dont know what to do. I put the tv low (as ive been for long time) and I close my eyes n try to sleep..Listenin to the tv and thinkin about stuff.....And I cant sleep..I hate it. Sometimes I need to sleep to I work now. Any suggestions? Say I try the 'going to sleep the same time n waking up the same time' thing......Does it still work if I use ambien to do it? Im really cluless. Can anyone help me please? I can work an 8 hour day on my feet the whole time..And my girlfriend can do nothing at all all day and she'll fall asleep in a quarter of thetime I do, or less. Its so not fair :( help.

You said you " thinkin about stuff....." when you couldnt fall asleep..
This will make you become more difficult to fall asleep. Dont think anything when we want to fall asleep. If we think, we will become consciousness. I read this from newspaper some year before. It also said not to watch haunted movie before we go to bed. If not, we will become hardly to fall asleep. So, dont think of anything when you want to sleep.

Hi,

as you know, insomnia is becoming a major problem for americans more than any country [recent survey report].

May I suggest you an excellent reading on, overcoming insomnia using natural remdies.

Learn:

how to teach your body to fall asleep naturally with a consistent plan of action?

How to choose your foods so that you may fall asleep before your head even hits the pillow - almost?

How to trick your body into unconsciously thinking that is time to turn the lights out and get some sleep?

6 different herbs each with detailed instructions on how to prepare yourself a recipe for sleeping success.

I really think, this is the information all insomnia sufferers love to have hands on.

Go check out yourself: http://www.Insomniaguide. Com

In no way am I advocating marijuana, however, I found it very useful in helping me get to sleep. In fact, besides the strongest of sleeping pills (i've tried almost everything, both prescription and over the counter) it's the only thing that works. Also, with the prescription drugs, I felt drousy the next day. I am also a deep thinker and cannot shut off my thoughts at night. My wife snoring doesn't help either! I have been to several doctors (12 in all) over the past few years for my insomnia problem and everyone of them agree that marijuana is better than taking a daily dose of sleeping pills. I have been smoking for over 16 years now (it just takes one puff before bed to work), and my sleep patterns are somewhat normal. Also, if you are adverse to (street drugs), xanax is good for sleep on deep thinkers. Unfortunately for some of us, all those "natural" remedies don't help at all; i've tried yoga, breathing, psyhotherapist, smooth sounds, music, kava, and nothing even remotely worked.
