Hi! I had 1 x-ray taken around 6-7 weeks
prego and wore a lead apron to shield my
abdomen. I am in my 3rd trimester now and
everything is going well so far. Blood
work results and ultrasound has all come
back normal. But I am still very, very,
very worried. Just to ease my mind, did
anyone had x-rays taken during early
pregnancy and your baby was ok. Should I
be concerned?

My girlfriend was in a very serious car
accident within the first few weeks of her
pregnancy. At that point she didn't even
know she was expecting. She suffered
from a broken pelvic bone & the
hospital took x-ray after x-ray after
x-ray. When she found out that she was
pregnant she voiced her concerns to the
doctor. Initially, the doctor advised
her that only time would tell, being that
the x-rays were so close to the fetus.
But dont you know 8 months later she gave
birth to a healthy baby boy. He is now
three & perfect!
Im sure you are fine. If you are still
worried talk about it to you doctor.
