I have the same problem with running out of room for clothes. My baby shower was on saturday and I can't see all this stuff fitting in the nursery. We went through the clothes and we got a ton of 0-3 months, so we're gonna take back summer stuff in that size and exchange it for a bigger size. That way it's still what everyone picked out for her. I don't think i've seen this many onsies in my life! It's like a lifetime supply! We even got a high chair already! The only thing we didn't get was a changing table, crib, or a baby monitor. But...The crib and changing table are big things that I wouldn't expect from anyone! But we got almost $300 to get things we need that we didn't get at the shower. My husband wants to save all the cards we got from the shower for when the baby gets older. Do you guys think he's crazy or is it a good idea?

I think it depends on your financial situation. If u need to use them for stuff u dont have then dont save them but if u think they wont be helpful for useful stuff for now then save them for when she outgrows her some stuff and needs replacements but u dont have money til payday or something my crib was expensive ($400) but my inlaws bought it as fora changing table I think those are a waste of money u just need a dresser for clothes think about it are u really gunna get up and walk to the baby room and do the whole changing thing or is it more likely youll ahve a few diapers next to ya and do it right there personally I keep my diapers in a care bear can in the living room and the wipes are always in the living room for multipurpose use

Keisha organize the clothes

first drawers do 0-3 then 3-6 etc
only keep out stuff up to 12 months and then rotate it

as for change table I will never use one if you dont pay attention they can be fatal to baby I change my son/daughter on the floor I bought a bunch of mats and they work wonders!!

As for crib u can get a nice one for 200$ my mom got mine on special but mom swears by storkcraft(most reliable she says) my daughter has donw everything and no scrathes yet and cams going in there soon!!

If you use a second hand crib for a baby, or the crib your older child used before the new baby, then you should always buy a new matress. Its in my baby books and a magazine.

Thats thne think I have organize

i only have thing in the room up to 12m, then again you have to rember we have no closet right now cuz all of mine and loves clothes are still in it cuz we dont have a place tol put then yet. We only have 2 dressers. I has only 2 droors and the other has 5 I think. If you think about it thats not alot of room. In the big dresser I have all her bootys hats bibs blanckets towes and so one and in the smaller dreasses, ihave all the baby clothes, the smaller dresser also has 2 shelves and a little closet on it that fits about 15- 20 out-fits.

I just need to get more places to but closthes, once I get a bit saved up im going out and buying a closet thing or something.

As for change table we have one in london thats coming to use from a fimly member, they dont need it anymore, we also got the crib from the same family member, but its already here and set up.

As for using the change table I more then likly will nave use it. I will just do what mom did use it to but dippers and stuff on and change the baby on the floor....Lol

my mom gave us my little brothers matress. Lol its in really go shape cuz my brother never used it. Mom almost never had him in the crib. As soon as he was like 5m mom had him in bed with her, even now he had a car bed that fit his crib matress, he naver used it not even once. He sat on the bed and shuff but that was it. So my mom gave the bed to the family member and thats why we got the crib.

I havent seen any used ones for sale in proper baby stores, maybe in a charity store? But it might not be the law to not sell used ones. I wouldnt risk it because of cot death, maybe thats why the books say always use a new one for a new baby, im not sure of the reason. Could be for the baby's back.

see thats the thing mostly everyone I know around here buy a used one.
I mean my brother really didnt use his at all so im sure it is fine. But I will ask my doctor or heathly babys nusse when I see her. I see what they say about it.

I mean its not like I didnt know were it came from or who used it. I did get it from mom and my brother is only coming 5 this june...So its not like its all that old or anything.

lol well I have the pictures. I just dont know who to post them here..Lol

ya we played games and had stupid little dollor store prizes...Lol

we played this box game were there are 20 items in a box everyoner gets so long to look in the box and then once everyone gets a chanch to look everyone sits back down and they have a min to write down as many items as the ycan rember....Lol my love win that one.

We also played babyshower bingo.

And pregnancy world scramble, lol me and my firend made that one. We came up with 25 words that kinda had to do with babys and pregnancy. Lol we had words like vagina breast pump and penis on there...

Lol I cant rember if we played anymore games or not...Lol

Kewl angel, let us know what the baby nurse says are the reasons for why we should buy new ones. All I can guess is that a used one isnt as firm on the baby's back as it should be, or something to do with the ventilation holes in it... Be good to know what she tells you.
