I'm Not Sure Where to Turn For Help Posted: 02-12-06 19:40pm
:? For the past 2 months I have had
rectal bleeding and stomach
issues-bloating and burning-that coincides
with the middle of my menstrual cycle. I
am also under constant stress that could
be related ( at least perception wise) and
have become totaly overwhelmed. I rarely
sleep due to my daughters eplilepsy (
seizures in sleep) and when I fall asleep
I wake up in a hour or two all sweaty. I
have gone from a confident 36 yo career
woman and mom to feeling like a person.
I am wondering if I have severe pmdd and
an ulcer. If I do have an ulcer could the
severe stress be causing the bleed and
physical symptoms. I just had a
colonoscopy in december of 05 which was
fine. The bleeding started in january
06.
I am so unhappy and hopeless at times (
usually mid-cycle) and other times i'm
ok-
any ideas????

Hi ther! I am no dr but my opinion is
that you need to get to a dr and tell him/
her everything that is going on, if that
dr does not seem to help you, get another
opinion. Are you able to nap during the
day? Can you get your daughter's
epilepsy more under control?
Maybe someone else here has some better
info.
Good luck to you and yours!

Cat is the rectal bleeding possibly
hemroids? I've heard that rectal bleeding
would look like coffee grounds not like
blood. If it looks like fresh blood that
could very well be hemroids. Esp if its
not heavy.
As for the bloating during certain times
of the month. I think its all stress and
hormone related. You poor thing, you
need a break!!
Have you ever tried something like midol
or premysin? For period relief? I've
found that they help with some of the
hormonal symptoms like bloating even when
i'm not on my cycle.
If you have an ulcer I think it would
cause alot of stomach irriation and bad
heart burn. (if you have those additional
symptoms its time to call the doctor).
