Pregnancy Forum - Question About Cervix

I have a few questions about mii cervix and the position and stuff !! First off, whenever it`s high, how much of it could I actually be able to feel? Second, whenever they say "soft" or "firm", are they talking about the whole thing, or just the tip? Most sites online say the tip, and others don`t say at all, so i`m slightly confused!!! Any answers please?
