Appointment Update! Posted: 02-13-06 15:03pm
So I told a few of you girls that I would
update after I went to my second prenatal
appointment on friday.. So I figured i'd
share with everyone. Here are some of
the details!
February 10th was my appointment. I'd
have to say I was super disappointed that
they didn't have an ultrasound scheduled.
I was looking for to my boyfriend
actually seeing the baby for the first
time, as opposed to just the picture.
The nurse practitioner went in to listen
for the heartbeat, and almost immediately
was able to locate it, which was rather
pleasing to me.. Since she said it
normally takes a tad bit longer. My
boyfriend was so amazing to be able to
hear the heartbeat for the first time, it
made me smile. I also found out all of
my bloodwork came back 100% excellent.
She told me it was impressive. Hah.
All of that worrying that something was
going to go horribly wrong.. For
nothing!!
So.. Just so all of you girls know -
everything's great! I'll keep you
updated on my next appointment. And I
just want to thank you all for the immense
amounts of support that i've received!

That is great! How far along are you?
Ask them when they will do an
ultrasound.

I was amazed at my 1st appt. How quickly
they found the heartbeat too!! It's like
they know just where to go...It kind of
concerned me that they didn't venture
around my belly to look for more than
one!!
At my 1st ultrasound I saw my bladder and
thought it was another head!! Lol.....My
Dr. Was cracking up!!
I'm so glad everything is good!! I know
how worried you were and I knew that
everything would turn out good...Cuz I was
just as worried myself!!!! Lol....The
paranoia only gets worse!! Lol!!
My next appt. Is the day before mardi
gras!! So I get to hear the little
heartbeat before I start parading!!!
