Just as the subject asks, how did you break the news?

To the baby's daddy, to your family? Any cute ways?

I'm not preggers yet but i've got a few ideas in mind for when I am.

Well, the daddy was there when I took the test, so he already knew. I don't know how i'm going to break it to my parents, seeing as my sister just had a baby, and they were super worried about me getting pregnant...(opps!) i'm kinda terrified...But oh well.

But to get my boyfriend in a better mood about this whole pregnancy, i'm going to buy a little outfit that says "my daddy, my sailor, my hero"...He'll love it!

Well, I read about a couple cute things on another site.

1) get a party invitation and fill it out with-
date: edd
time: all day
location: name of hospital
occasion: the birth of your child

2) put a bun in the oven and tell him to go look.

3) cupcakes with pink and blue frosting and a question mark on top.

4) my guy loves the red sox so i'll probably just go buy a red sox bib or onesie.

I feel like this month is it! Then again I feel like that every month. Cross your fingers!

Mine was unexpected as I was on the pill. I had a missed period for a week started feeling dizzy etc. So when my husband dropped me off the shops to do some food shopping I got an hpt. He was @ work then. As soon as I got home I did the test and there it was 1 bright line and 1 faint line I was hysterical since his aunt lived across the road I went there just to make sure that I did the right procedure. His aunt just said "awww...Another baby in the family..." told his aunt to pretend not to know lol then I phoned him up told him im pregnant (wasnt sure if he's mad) and he came str8 home and said he didnt know if we could cope he asked me to take to take another test so I did. He waited for the results and it was 2 bright lines this time. He asked, "do you want this baby?" I replied "yes..."
he just kissed me and said "i love you and im happy to have another child with you...I'm sure we can cope..."

Nothing cute for me. I told my husband I was late, we went together to buy the test. I took it and then I was too scared to look at it so he looked at it first, told me and then showed it to me. So I guess he broke it to me!!

My babies dad was there when I did the test and he must've seen the look of shock on my face and took the test and looked at it himself then smiled!!

To tell my mum I took the test round to hers and just showed her it!! :d

I took the test a few days before christmas with out my hubby knowing wrapped the test up and gave it to him for one of his christmas gifts. I then gave my mum and dad each a onesie that said "i love my grandma" and "grampa's are the best. I just got lucky that it was around christmas.

Let's see... With my fiance

i went to the doc to get checked out because I had an "irregular period" he did an urine test and came back in the room and said, 'you're pregnant" we didn't believe it at first and it took time to sink in. Since I was bleeding this had to be confirmed so I went in for an u/s two days later and saw my little peanut. I was looking over at what the doc was doing and as soon as he stopped and started taking pics I knew... Then he called my fiancee in and he showed the screen to both of us and let us listen to his heart! We were still in shock!! My fiance got teary eyed and was soo happy!

I went to my mother's house right after that, but she wasn't there. So she came in a few minutes later and as I was walking towards her to show her the u/s pic and let her know the news she said "you're pregnant aren't you?" I said yesss...She said "i knew it, I had a feeling"

to my step father's mother (nana)
we were all gathered during christmas and my brother and I went to sit down beside her to take a picture and "uncle ken" shouted out "we now have 2 and a half generations captured in that picture" she said "what do you mean, where's the half?" I got up and showed her my belly.

I had planned on getting a lil teddy bear that you can record on and record with arm's wide open to give to my bf and give it to him for our anniversary. But the test was neagtive again. When I did finally find out I went to his work and he jus looked at me and said you're pregnant aren't you. So nothing special that time.
I still havent told my mom yet i'm afraid of her being disappointed but it is what I wanted so I know she will eventually accept it. Still nervous, keep putting it off!

When I found out, I took a home test, and my boyfriend looked at it before I did. When he turned around and looked at me, I knew what it said by the look on his face... It was him wanting to be ecstatic but wanting to make sure it was ok first. Lol

i wanted to tell you that i've been there. My mom and dad said they were disappointed and... Worse... Embarrassed. It was bad. Anyway, they're ok now, and I think my mom is getting a little excited. So, just suck it up and tell them (it's best to just get it overwith, then you don't have to worry). It might be bad or uncomfortable at first, but she will come around, I promise. And you'll feel better.
