This is my first month off of nuvaring
birth control. I have been having mild
cramps since last thursday and my breasts
have been tender for a couple of days. I
am also having a lot of discharge - need
to wear a pantyliner but no af. I had a
pregnancy (blood) test on tuesday which
was negative. I can't really say what my
cycle should be since I just stopped bc.
28 days would have been last thursday.
Today is day 35. I'm just not sure what
is going on.

Birth control is no fun to come off of.
Your body is now lacking all those
hormones so it is probley just trying to
adjust without the bc. I felt horrible
when I came off of mine. Give it a
little more time to see if it af comes, if
it does not come soon I would give the dr
a call.

When I got off by bcps before my dd was
born it was well over a year before I had
a cycle without having to take meds to
make it happen. I had just really hoped
that it would be different this time. I
guess I should have known better. I am
not going to wait as long this time to see
the doctor though.

It took a whole year wow. I went off in
nov, and I had 2 normal periods but than I
had one jan 5, it was 10 days early and it
lasted on and off for over 2 weeks. And
now I am waiting for af again and nothing
yet. I took a test and it was negative.
I'm gonna give mine another 2 weeks and
if I don't get it I am gonnna go to the
drs. Good luck 2 u, lots of baby
dust!!!!

Thanks. Good luck to you to. I don't
know how long I should wait before I see a
doctor. I am 31 which I know isn't old
but I don't want this to drag out for to
long.
