I am currently 35 weeks & have yet to
do much of anything. I haven't even sent
the thank you cards from my baby shower.
I haven't washed any of the baby's things
& the crib which was ordered, has yet
to arrive! I have no bag packed, &
really have nothing to even wear at the
hospital! I think about all which needs
to be done & I begin to panic,
although I choose to do nothing about it.
It's embarrassing to admit all this to an
entire forum. For goodness sake, it is
time for me to grow up & get with the
program; I am 26 years old.
Does this mean I am not ready (mature
enough) to be a mother? Has this
happened to anyone else? Everyone else
seems to be so anxious & ready, even
as early as 28 weeks?? What is the
matter with me?????

No way girl!! Procrastination is in the
blood!! Lol...It has nothing to do with
your maturity!! I make 30 weeks tomorrow
and have yet to even have my baby
shower!!!!! Lol...I haven't even
registered!! I guess i'm waiting for an
invtitation!!!! Lmao!!
I don't have a layette or anything!!
Nothing...I can't believe how fast the
weeks flew by!!!!
My baby is due the 1st week of .May and
i'm not having my shower until the 2nd
weekend in april....Now who's the
procrastinator?!?!?! Lol
you're totally normal!! This is your 1st
baby right??

Yes, it is my first baby. & this
little guy wasn't a planned pregnancy.
Dont get me wrong, there are no regrets,
but it wasnt something I was shooting for.
He was a bit of a surprise, and until a
few weeks ago, I was working full time
aswell as taking college courses on a
part-time basis. Now I am only working
full time, & that is plenty! How
about you? First child?

Oh yea...1st little miracle....She wasn't
expected either...We weren't preventing it
though....So I wasn't that
shocked..Lol...A little in denial...But
not shocked....I was in the middle of
going to school full time to become an
esthitician then hurricane katrina hit and
I found out I was almost a month and a
half preggy!!! Lol...It was strange...But
exciting!! I made 30 weeks today!! It's
hard to believe that in like 10 weeks i'll
be pushing her out!!!!
I don't even have a list of people to come
to my baby shower yet!! Lol...Mine isn't
a surprise..I want to be totally involved
in it so that nothing goes wrong!
