Need Help And Advice About Asking Someone Out Posted: 02-17-06 04:32am
Ok well...Here we go. I basically like
this girl who I work with. We kissed on a
night out last year but nothing ever came
from it! I'm not sure if she feels the
same cos sometimes she is a bit flirty and
sometimes not - I mean when I walk passed
her she sticks her tongue out at me and
things like that! I havent been in work
much this week and havent been able to
give her a valentines card. Athough we
text a bit on valentines day she seemed
pretty down that everyone was loved up! I
said that I had got her a card and from
what I could tell she seemed pretty happy
- although she never replied to my last
text message! I said i'd give her the
card on monday and basically would like
some advice on how to approach giving her
the card cos I would like to ask her
out...Or get to know her a bit more! I
just dont know how to approach this cos my
past record is not very good with girls as
you might see from my posts! I'm not too
bad looking and I know i'm a nice guy - I
just need a few compliments to boost my
self esteem I guess! Anyway what do you
think? Any feed back or help would be
fab. Thanks in advance damien

Just come strait out and tell her you like
her and you want to get to know her
better.Suggest going out,and make a date
b/c if you don't set a date to do it,most
likely it wont happen.Just go for it!

About half way through last year I was
texting her and she became quite flirty
and said that she thinks i'm a genuine guy
and that she finds me attractive! Then a
month or so after we were on a very rare
night out and we kissed but she was drunk
- I wasnt - although she did text me the
day after saying she didnt regret it! But
that was then and this is now - lol - how
do I react if she says "that she thinks
i'm a nice guy but probably not." ? Sorry
but I always expect the worse! Lol

I know, I use to think like that too.If
you go up to her with confidence and she
can see that, she will most likely not turn
you down.Girls like confidence but not too
much to the point where you are cocky.
Just ask and if she says no it may hurt
your feelings, but just say "thats cool,i
can respect that."that will lessen the
chance of feeling akward around each other
afterwards and also tell her you would
like to stay friends
