I have a constant taut muscle / tendon in
my neck (no pain at all associated), it
starts just under my ear at the point of
my jaw and runs in to my collar bone. I
have asked my doctor what it is, but he
has no idea, although he seemed very
worried by it and asked me to come back in
10 days, although he wouldnt tell me what
he thought the problem was, or give me any
vague idea as to what was causing it /
what the implications may be.
please could you let me know what this may
be and any problems that may occur from
it, as im starting to panick quite
severely over it now.
“Muscle spasms without pain” is a very
strange symptom. It is very important to
discriminate real muscle spasms from
tightness in the muscle. You will need to
request a neurological examination by a
neurologist in order to do diagnose your
symtpoms.
