Witch Dating Site Should I Pick ? Posted: 02-17-06 12:50pm
I'm thinking of joining an online dating
service but am not sure witch one. Has
anyone had any success with one of these
online dating services? Any bad or good
stories to report on theses sites? Any
help would be appreciated

Hello, how relevant a site is to you
depends on how much you are willing to
spend. It works differently for
different people provided you pay your
subscriptions.
Another issue is that it takes time to get
a proper hook-up. You may have to be
really patient with the service to get
what you want.
All the best!

My favorites and the ones I recommend:
match.Com
yahoo personals
eharmony.Com
this are the dating sites with most
people. My bf I met him through yahoo
personals. But I have dated guys from all
these sites. Never lacked a date so I can
recomend to anyone. Good luck!

Try plentyoffish.Com I like this site
because its completely free, and as a
result there are way more prospective
dates.

I've heard nothing but good things about
match.Com
i know some people who have been on it and
many have met their significant others
that way.
Despite the fact that you have to pay for
it (right? I think?), it's better in the
sense that the website attracts people who
are serious about dating, not just anyone
who can log onto a free site and post a
profile.

Both my sister and one her friends tried
eharmony, and both said it was really bad,
but I haven't tried it.
I had some luck with yahoo personals,
though, which I thought was alright
although there was nothing outstanding
about their service. It was decent.

I like okcupid, and it's free - paid sites
pay "fluffers" to feign interest in you,
and keep you reupping - they're not all
fluffers, but I just can't imagine that so
many 19 year olds want me to sport medical
answer them - all living at inconvenient
distances of course.
There are other free sites, I belong to
one that is bdsm oriented that's pretty
good if you're into that, but I happen to
think this one is fun, and pretty much
what you see is what you get, which i'm
not sure is the case elsewhere.
Free sites allow you to email, and a lot
of them have forums, which is plus -
okcupid doesn't have forums, but it does
have free messaging and chat.
You can find all kinds of specilized
dating sites if you google, i've found
forums for single parents, disabilities,
smokers, all kinds of stuff.
Many are tiered, meaning you can join for
free, and can message, chat or post in
forums, but can upgrade your account to
access better search features, etc.

Update: yahoo personals - it's actually a
bit more expensive than most dating sites,
but so far, 100% real people, warts and
all.
Another good site with forums, free email,
chat. Etc., is matchdoctor
