Anyone Have Weird Cravings?

Has anyone had any really unusual food
cravings during any of your pregnancies?
I haven't had any unusual ones, just
expensive ones! For the past 6 or 7
months i've really wanted lobster and it
would never fail the few times I would
turn the tv on a red lobster commercial
would be on. My hubby took me out for
steak and lobster on valentines day, so
the lobster craving was settled for that
day.....Only to wake up the next day still
craving lobster. I've also been craving
oranges and those baked ruffles chips, the
cheddar and sour cream flavor. How long
does it take for the cravings to go away
after the baby is born? Just curious.
Thanks.

Fatfamily, i'm doing really good
lately....Thanks for asking. How about
yourself?
Macysmom, I also love the smell of laundry
soap. I've gone thru a lot of different
brands lately trying to find the one I
like best. So far I really like tide,
then I use downy clean breeze fabric
softner and it smells like heaven! I just
got a new box of tide with
febreeze....Haven't tried that yet because
I still have almost a half a box of the
other tide. I did buy dreft to wash all
the baby clothes, but it smelled kinda
weird to me. Same with shampoo, I almost
never use the same kind twice because I
like to use new kinds. Hopefully this
will all pass once the baby is born so we
don't end up having stock in laundry
detergent and shampoo lol

Ha ha ha
i like the smell of gas--but has nothing
to do with this pregnancy. And
exhaust--how strange huh--i just told my
husband of 9 years my secret--and he
thinks im weird. Lol
as far as cravings--bacon-i love bacon--i
love smelling it cook too. I could eat
it 10 times a day. Normally I like it
okay--usually tastes too salty to me.
But not now. Takes like heaven. Cant
think of anything else.

I craved chocolate pudding with sweet
pickles when I was pregnant my 1st time
with canned whip cream and with the 2nd it
was banana sandwiches and bananas with
frosted flakes and bananas with milk and
sugar and peaches with milk and frosted
flakes, even not being pregnant I still
have my chocolate cravings and pretzels
and popcorn with or without the white
cheese and crunchy cheetos, just part of
the basic food groups(especially the
chocolate, ha! Ha!). I too like used
too like the smell of gas, maybe it was
the dumb cheap thrills. Since I have had
medical problems my senses are heavy duty.

When I was pregnant both times, I didnt
have any cravings untill the last couple
of months, then I just went mad over ice
cream I ate so much of it!!
After I had my first child my mum kept
buying it in bulk not really realising I
wasnt eating it no more, it took her ages
to shift it lol! I am not normally an ice
cream lover!

I myself used to love the smell of downy
fabric softener, I used to want to bathe
in it.
I also love the smell of a can of coffee
when you 1st open it but I am not much of
a coffee drinker.

No strange ones for me, but i've been
eating a lot of cucumbers with ranch
dressing. Or peanut butter sandwiches.
Also, my lovely boyfriend bought me a
whole box of those ice pops (the kind that
are just the juice in a plastic tube). I
love those things!

I'm really just craving dairy.....Like
lots of cereal with whole milk and cut up
grapes and bananas in it!! Lol...Before
getting preggy I would drink milk...But
not very often..Now I go through an entire
gallon in 3 days by myself!!!! I'm sure
that explains a lot about my weight
gain!!! Lmao!
I ate pickles and chocolate ice cream when
I was really young and it continued until
my teen years...I kinda grew out of
it...Now that i'm preggy I don't wanna eat
it!!
But like sour cream, butter, and milk seem
to be all I want!! (of course..The
fattiest things I could want!!) I eat
smart balance butter which has the omega 3
and 6 in it and it has no trans fat..Which
is a plus!!!

I also love the smell of gas!! Lol weird
I thought that I was odd...I've loved it
since I was a kid. It's apparently
really bad for you though, you loose brain
cells or something with the
fumes...Haha.
Ivory snow baby soap is the most amazing
smell in the whole entire world! I don't
even have a baby yet and I do loads of
washing (with baby stuff) just to smell
it!!
And I never had any cravings really in
this pregnancy...For a while I wanted meat
(and I am not a big meat, especially red
meat- eater) but that only lasted about
1-2 weeks and since then I haven't craved
anything at all.

Lalee ive always loved those ice pops they
remind me of the skating rink. Only
problem is I prefer to suck the juice out
of the ice and since its basically syrup
it makes me cough.
I met this guy the other day (i wont go in
to the whole story but hes 17 and looks
25) his g/f is prego and he asked her
where she wanted to go for valentines day
and she wanted to go to food lion (a
grocery store) for peanut butter and stuff
I cant remember what but it definately did
not go good w/ peanut butter

yea the fresh coffe can, or instant bottle
when you first open it. Or the isle in
the store where the coffee is. Although
it gives me nausea every time I drink it.
My daughter hates coffee and when she
was preg she couldnt even go down the isle
of coffee.
And I have noticed the last couple days
the laundry room does smell really good.
But it always feels like "winter on the
holidays to me" when I smell laundry
washing, and drying.
And in the beginning of pregnancy
especially, cucumbers with everything.
Subway sandwiches crammed with cucumbers.
And I also love them with ranch. I
craved soups and lite foods in the
beginning especially. Nothing too heavy.
