"black girl"...Seemed to fit!! And my
bull dog is "sugar" cuz she's sooo dopey
and sweet (like many other bulldogs)
when I get my chip for my camera i'll be
sure to post one with them on it along

Ok this is gunna sound weird...But I love
the smell of fresh dirt or freshly cut
grass. My hubby and I were doing yard
work over the weekend and wow it smelled
grand. I have always hated the smell of
cut grass...But not now.....
I love dill pickles but only the snackums
(the tiny little ones) green olives and
lots of oj and milk. I could eat pickles
and olives all day long. I don't really
crave sweets or snacks like
chips/crackers. Oh and chicken. My
husband says that if we have chicken
another night that he will just die. He
is tired of it.

I consume massive quantities of popsicles
and ice. It's the middle of winter and
like 10 degrees where I am and i'm running
to the store buying popsicles and
strawberry scooter crunch bars. I'm
sitting outside on break eating them with
gloves on. I'm a weirdo.
I've had lots of cravings for crab which
usually means a trip to the fish store
every saturday.
Oh, and bananas. I used to .H.A.T.E
bananas and it's like now I can't get
enough of them. And i've been murdering
entire bowls of potatoes (fries, mashed,
boiled, whatever) with apple cider vinegar
(may not sound weird if you're not
american but it definitely is if you are).
I think that's it...

I have always loved the smell of fresh cut
grass--havent smelled it since this
pregnancy--so I dont know if it is worse
or not.
Oranges, like crazy--and oj (with nausea)
and milk all day long--the chicken thing
yes, to that too. Dill pickle
chips--although chips and sweets hasnt
been a problem for me, this pregnancy---i
shore liked the dill pickle chips.
And indian fried bread---all day long.
Anyone know what indian fried bread is???
And I have never drank so much water in
all my life. Ever!!!

When I was pregnant, I used to love the
smell of fresh mowed hay or alfalfa. I
liked it before and still do but not like
I did when I was preg.

Oh yeah....Oranges. I can't get enough of
them lol.
I forgot about those. I wish I could say
pickles and olives are a wierd craving for
me, but I really liked those before I got
pregnant. Mostly the the kosher dill
pickle spears mmmm.
I am ready for the baby to drop any time
now. I'm sooooo sick of heartburn, i've
gone through lots of tums in the past
couple months. I think once the baby
drops, the heartburn goes away, or at
least lets up....I hope anyways.
But with my luck she won't drop until i'm
about ready to go into labor!

I love dill pickles, especially the chips.
My mom loves sweet pickles (i don't like
them so much) and said that she ate sweet
pickle relish by the spoonful when she was
pregnant with me.... And she still does.
Lol
also, has anyone ever heard of pregnancy
cravings carrying over to the child? My
friend's mom, who hates Dr. Pepper,
couldn't get enough of it when she was
preggy with my friend. And Dr. Pepper is
my friend's fave soda. Don't know if
that's just an odd coincidence or
something that happens sometimes.

hi sarah! I've been soooo busy at work,
my office is being audited. It's been
taking up all of my spare time...But I
should be back on the boards like normal
in another couple of weeks. Plus when I
could check in there weren't too many
topics that I was interested in replying
to if you know what I mean.

lalee, for your question I haven't heard
of cravings carrying over but I do know
that my mom ate corn like crazy while she
was pregnant with me and I hate corn.
Now she didn't eat any meat or salty
things and those are my favorite things to
eat...
******************************************
******************
oh, yeah I forgot about the cravings for
honey buns. I never liked them before
either now I eat them like crazy.

I found a couple of good pics of my
.American .Bulldog (.Sugar) she's got a
crystal blue eye and a brown
one...Lol...She's a real goober...
I also have a pic. Of my fiance' and his
.God .Child (.Jathan .Reese)
i'm trying to find a good one of my .Pit
(.Black.Girl) but the only ones I think I
have are when she's a pup....And of course
i'm the one taking all of the pics. So I
can't find one of me!!!!
It's good to see that other people own
"bully breeds" and have babies cuz I swear
if I hear that speach one more time about
them being soooooo dangerous i'm gonna
hurt somebody!! Apparently the people
giving the speeches don't own and type of
bully breed cuz they are the sweetest dogs
I have ever owned....It truely is all
about how you raise them!!

Sarah, I hear a lot of people talk poorly
of those breeds as well. Tho I don't own
one myself I know people who do and they
are nothing but big ol' babies! It's all
in how you raise them. I have a 15 month
old chihuahua, and he's not an ankle
biter, or a barker. The only time he will
bark is when someone knocks on the door
and even then he'll only bark like 2
times. He also loves everybody and kids.
Everywhere I read they say they are a 1
person dog. Well, mine dog must not have
read his manual correctly or something!

Lol....Does he shake a lot?? My father in
law has a .Min .Pin and he is the cutest
thing and loves when babies come around
cuz they drop their food or just give it
to him!! Lol....
People always tell me things about my dogs
but as soon as they meet them they totally
change their mind....I can't lie, before I
got these dogs I probably would've thought
the same thing...(that they'll turn on
you)...But my dogs are so submissive that
I wish they would bark!! Lol.....
Granted if a stranger approaches them from
the other side of the fence...They will
try to bite your face off...Only because
they are protecting the yard...But the
same people come in and are greeted by us
through the front door and they get licked
down!!!
They are totally people dogs!!
Thanks for your support...
Sarah

Lol
no, he doesn't shake a lot. Only when
he's cold or really really scared, which
is not very often. He's not a typical
tiny chihuahua that I wanted. He weighs
8lbs 6 oz. So I think that's pretty big
for a chi. Tho now that I have him I
wouldn't want a teeny tiny one because
they are so small. Mine we can actually
play with like without breaking him, and
boy does he love to play. He's really
smart also, he knew a few tricks when he
was only 3 or 4 months old. He also loves
to go "bye bye". Pick up the keys and
that dog is ready to go. When I pick up
my 10 y/o nephew from school he gets
excited to see all the kids, but he will
pick out my nephew from far away and oh my
gosh does he bounce off the wall. It's
weird how a dog can do that. At times I
don't think he's all that smart because
he'll chase his tail around until he's
dizzy, then try to walk and he ends up
falling. It's sooooooo funny to see tho
lol. He keeps me entertained throughout
the day since i'm not working at the
moment. I sure hope he likes the baby
when we bring her home. He's never seen a
baby before...So it will be interesting.
I know he won't be aggressive, but I don't
want him to get too excited either. He
doesn't jump up on the furniture
either...So we should be ok.

It is not the dogs that are mean, it is
the people that train them to make them
mean, I had a pit-lab at one time for 15
yrs, he was a love bug, I now have a irish
wolfhound(gentle giant) and a hound mix,
looks moore like a tall beagle or a fox
hound, those are my babies now.

Normally it's those big huge dogs that are
suckers for kids! Seems like the bigger
the dog, the more mellow and loving they
are. Not that my brat isn't loving
because he is, but i've seen tons of big
dogs that are soooo good and gentle with
kids.
Down the road my husband wants to get a
siberian husky. Which is cool because he
wasn't much into animals when I met him,
now he couldn't live w/o the dog lol.
Does anyone think our pets can sense we
are pregnant? I think they can, because
when I have an "emotional" moment my dog
will come over and put his face in my neck
and cuddle. What do the rest of you
think? Or am I just crazy?

Oh they def. Know....My .Pit used to
dance with me and now she can;t cuz my
huge belly's in the way...I call my belly
the baby though so she can kind of get the
hint... Whenever I cry my .Bulldog will
lick my eyes no matter how hard I try to
get her to stop!! I think she just likes
the salt!! What a booger...My .Pit will
actually lay on me and kind of moan...I
know a lot of .Pits have this same moan
that mine has...They are sooo gentle with
.Baron's .Godchild...
It sounds crazy but we actually got a baby
doll with the real life crying and we let
it go on for about 45 minutes and say the
owrd baby a lot...They are not allowed to
touch or jump up on the little baby when
i'm holing it....All in all they are
awesome dogs and I wouldn't trade them for
anything in the world....Now I do also
have a 13 year old poodle who is the
coolest smartest dog i've ever
encountered...She's a little cranky though
at her old age. When a kid comes
around..She'll quietly leave the room..She
avoids them at all costs!!! It's
hilarious...
