My 5 yr old niece just went to the dentist
for the first time. The dentist did
x-rays and noticed a pocket of 12-14 extra
baby teeth in the roof of her mouth. The
extra teeth are not visible or painfull.
The dentist did not explain the disorder
very well, he admitted he wasn't familliar
with this type of disorder at all. My
niece is due to have surgery to remove the
extra teeth. I just want to know if this
is common and what exactly causes it. I
could not find any info on the net any
where. I am not even sure what it is
called.
