18 Yrs Old And Possibly Pregnant!! Please Help!!! Posted: 02-20-06 20:07pm
Well....This is my problem. My last
period began on jan. 21st and I think it
ended on the 26th. Im irregular!! Yea,
it suxs!! But, I had sex on the 31st of
jan. Around 5 days after my period. And
I really want my baby. I dont know if I
might be pregnant because im irregular.
And ive been having some pregnancy
symptoms and its barely 2 weeks after
having sex. Ive been having nausia,
bloating, cravings, tender brest, and I
think I had implantation bleeding. I had
like, a stain and it look pinkish and I
though "what? My period again?" because
thats the type of color that I get before
my period comes. Oh and ive had
period-like crampings. And I think ive
had more symptoms. I just cant remember
them. Lol. But yea, I need some!!!

My symptoms are sorta the same..Ive been
reading alot about the symptoms and it
sounds like id go to the doctors and get a
blood test. Im pretty much in a similar
situation except im 19 lol but I usually
would have sex everyday so I have
absolutly no clue when it happend. But
ive been bloated,fatigued, irritable,my
breast hurt sooo bad and they are swollen
and much larger cuz my bras are sorta
tight. I am also irregular but I usually
get my period around the end of the month
but it jumps around. I havent had the
implantation bleeding but you dont always
get it. I havent been too nausous but ive
had horrible cramps. I took a test and it
turned up negative but like I said who
knows when and if I got pregnant. Lol (i
also really wouldnt mind having a child I
love children). I know I havnet helped
but its always nice to know someone in
your shoes. Let me know what happens!

Well, thanks alot. Actually, its kind of
good to know that someone else is in my
situation. And yea, hopefully we do end
up preggy. Oh yea, yesterday, I had sex
with my b/f and im still in my "period".
My b/f said that he dosent think its
really my normal period cuz usually, you
know how your period is heavy? Mine is
like, normal blood. I dont really know
how to explain it. He says that the blood
feels like if its mixed with some other
sort of liquid. That its smooth. And
usually, the normal period is all hard and
heavy you know? Especially for irregular.
But yea, I hope that its not my real
period. I really want to turn out
pregnant. :|

Ya like its thin right? Is it lighter
then usual? Cuz when I get mine its like
super heavy the first day in a half then
its just like normal but is it at all like
that? It could possibily be implantation
bleeding. Ya I really want a child. I
know that they cost alot and this and that
but ya know there are so many programs to
help us that that really isnt a problem
these days. Ive researched it too lol.

bleeding!!! :) good luck!!! :) I have
also been researching "implantation
bleeding" and "menstration and possibly
pregnant" and its pretty normal. Alot of
people (women) go through that. Yay!!!
Hopefully we're pregnant. And yea, the
1st days of my period is heavy!! But this
one isent and he told me! Wow!! I hope
this is a good sign. And yea, we are very
fortunate to have programs to help us pay
for our kids :)

Ya im def getting a blood test taken
monday morning..You should get one too.
They can detect it as early as 10 days
after youve concieved. Anyways keeps me
posted!

Well with the blood test you dont have to
wait till youve missed your period. My
period is due this upcoming week and I
really hope I dont get it. My boyfriend
wants the total opposite. He doesnt want
me to be pregnant and even asked about an
abortion, which I am pro-choice but I have
no reason to have one. Anyways yes thanks
and I really hope I am!! Im crossing my
fingers!!

Well im not pregnant. Atleast not
anymore. What happend was that I was
because of the symptoms I was showing but
the embyro didnt stick to my uterine wall
sooo its not really a miscarriage cuz the
baby wasnt forming but thats kinda what it
was. :( im starting birth control this
weekend because my boyfriend and I arent
ready. (i got my hopes up but I know he
doesnt/isnt ready for a child) anyways I
hope you still are pregnant!

Im in the same boat as. I have had all
the symptoms as pregnancy but they are so
similar to your period.
I have had sex a lot since my period ended
around the 20th in jan. And a week or so
after I had bloating, cramps and tender
and swollen breasts/nipples. And that
went away for a few...Then 3 weeks ago all
the prego symptoms came back...And I got
myperiod this week. But I am not on bc or
use condoms but I have an irregular cycle.
Idk if I am pregnant, my boobs seem
fuller and hurt. My flow is lighter then
usual but my cramps this time were really
bad. Idk im going to wait but I hope I am
prego.

It's called a chemical pregnancy and it
happens a lot. Most of the time women
don't even know it happened, they just
think their period was a little late. So
I guess it's not really considered a
miscarriage.

just wish for the best. Oh, and I dont
know why, but I feel it in my guts that im
pregnant. Its just that feeling that you

If you've read some of my earlier posts
i've been saying I knew I was pregnant for
the past few weeks and I just missed my
period and got my positive result a week
ago. I just knew, I felt different. I
also had a lot of signs early on, from
conception I would say. So good luck and

before you got ur possitive test? Like,
you just felt it or did u have the signs
of pregnancy? And yea, I hope so.
Because before, the 1st time we tried to
get pregnant, I wasent really sure if I
was or not. In my mind, I was like
whatevers about it. I was thinking about
the possibility of me not being pregnant.
My b/f kept telling me "think possitive"
but I couldnt. I would always think that
I might not have been. But now, this
time, I feel it. Im pretty sure I might
be. I hope so. And I was ready about the
"chemical pregnancy" that that happens
after you miss you period or a sign that
thats happening is that your period is
longer than usual. Mine was shorter than
usual. I think its that what the doctor
calls a "fake menstration". Hopefully.

How long have you been trying? I think
people think it's easy but it's really
hard. It took me 8 months of trying
before I got pregnant, then I had a
miscarriage at 13 weeks. After another 4
months of trying, i'm now 5 weeks. Let's
pray this one sticks.
What I did differently this last month was
drink *a ton* of orange juice (for the
folic acid) and lay on my stomach after
sex (instead of my back, which is what I
usually did). I don't know if these
things helped but it is what I did
differently and now i'm pregnant. :)
starting about 3 days after ovulation I
started feeling these twinges in my lower
abdomen on one side. After a few days it
spread to my entire lower abdomen. Then
after about a week it turned into a sharp
throb that happened frequently but didn't
last for more than a few seconds. I think
this was implantation.
I also started having these crazy vivid
dreams. I'd wake up confused or later in
the day think back on something that I
thought had really happened and then
realize it was a dream. I'm still having
those and I wish it would stop.
I also had dizzy spells/light headedness,
increased hunger, sore throat, was thirsty
a lot, no sex drive at all, fatigued... I
think that's about it.
From all of that I just knew that I was
pregnant and when I tested a few days
before my period was due I got an
extremely faint line (almost invisible).
I tested every day after that and it got a
little darker. Then I skipped 2 days and
when it was officially 5 days past my
missed period I got a line that couldn't
have been any darker. I'm thrilled but
scared because of my prior miscarriage.
So I hope this helped (sorry it's a
novel!). Has your "period" ended? If so,
you can test. Let me know what happens!

Oh! One more and I can't believe I forgot
this as it was absolutely horrible. Thank
god it's died down a bit (but not gone
completely) but I had the worst gas. I
could've cleared a room it was so bad.
And it was only at night (when my fiance
was asleep which was great for his sake!).

Well, me and my b/f have bearly been
trying for about a month now. And well,
it only takes some couples the 1st time to
get pregnant. And yea, my "period" has
ended. But im scared to get a possitive.
I have decided to test next week either
tuesday or friday. And well yea, ive been
feeling that too. Ive been really thirsty
too, ive been really sleepy, really tired,
ive been really moody and emotional, I go
to the bathroom often, my breat were sore
(not anymore), I would get dizzy, light
headed all the time and I get headaches
too, ive been really hungry. I didnt use
to eat in the morning and now, I get
really hungry in the mornings. I have
sore throat right right now, and I get
discusted at some of the food. And ive
also had gases at night too!!! Lol. But
its not every night. Some nights and
their the same as yours.Lol. And if I
dont get pregnant, ill do the same thing
you did. I will drink orange juice and
ill lay on my stomach after sex. And ive
also been drinking alot of water lately.
