I just started the pill on sunday january
29th. The last day of my last period was
february 2nd. My boyfriend and I had sex
the weekend of the 3rd. It was
unprotected and then he would put a condom
after a while to be "safe". I am just
finishing up my first pack of pills. I am
on day 3 of my white pills (the inactive
ones) and have not started my period yet.
What day of the white pills should I start
my period? Should I be worried that I
could be pregnant? I hate not knowing for
sure...I have never been so anxious to get
my period. If anyone could help me here,
I would really appreciate it. Thanks!

When you first start taking bc pills...It
can have an effect on your cycle. It can
make af start sooner or later than you
might have expected it. If you have no
other symptoms...I would not worry too
much about it. The stress and worry can
make your af even later. If you're still
worried...You can try a hpt or talk to
your doctor.
Hope this helps. :)

Technically, yes you can get pregnant.
But the chances are very slim. When I was
on the pill, I didnt get my period until
about the 5th day of the last row. The
doctor told me it varies from person to
person. Remember that the pill is very
effective (although less effective the
first month)... If you dont get your
period by the last day of the sugar pills,
call your doc, because if you are
pregnant, you should not take the birth
control pill.
