Doctor's Appointment Today.
Posted: 02-21-06 16:00pm

Yeah, I have an appt today at 3:30 it's 3:00 right now..

I'm kinda scared, i'm going to be mad if he doesn't say i'm 3cm or close to it. (i can be induced if i'm 3cm)

if i'm not i'll have him painfully strip my membranes again, which did I mention hurt like crazy..

I'll write how it went when I get back. I bought a stress ball, so I can squeeze it if i'm in pain. Ahahaha

i'm such a chicken b*tch.

He's going to induce me march 8th.

Way past my due date but i'll be 42 weeks and could go into labor before then. At least I know he's going to come if not now just a couple weeks away. I don't have to wonder ya know?

I've heard so many awful things about being induced, I think i'm more nervous now than ever!! But on march 8th I go in at 5pm, then they'll put some creme in my vagina or something to soften my cervix, then they'll give me pitocin.

Then finally.....Hopefully out comes baby.

My sister was induced with her son. I think she was only about a week late. She always joked and said he only stayed in there because she kept telling him to come out..Lol. She didn't have any problems with her delivery though. Good luck with everything.

i had to be induced with my 2nd son.
He was 2 weeks early but my waters broke and labour didnt start, I had group b strep so they couldn't leave me incase of infection,
its not that bad so dont worry the gave me this gel stuff but it didnt work in the end I had to have a drip which was a pain because with this and the moniters I wasn't able to move about much, but it was ok.
Besides 8th march a while away yet, baby will probably come by then! Wishing you the best!

Geez thats some crap where u not dialated any? Most doctors induce after 1 week past due (thasts what all the books say at least) march 8th is 2 freaking weeks away how are u gunna stand it? Sorry I no im mot helping right? Are u gunna get an epidural? The gel doesnt hurt u just have to lay in bed and watch tv for an hour or so while it does its stuff its the pitocin that makes the contractions more painful.

Yeah i'm going to have an epidural, and I know it's crap. But he doesnt get off vacation until march 8th, as his wife is having a baby tomorrow by c section & he is taking 2 weeks off.

Ok this is gunna sound weird but my mom and grandma told me the day after your due date you have your baby daddy go to the store and by kraft macaroni and cheese in the blue box and a1 steak sauce. Then baby daddy has to make the macaroni and put some on a plate and u have to add as much a1 steak sauce as u can stand and eatthe entire platefull that he serves u then supposabley u will go into labor within 24 hours.

That does sound really wierd..Lol. I wonder if it works though. I would probably try it if I went past my due date just for kicks. By then i'm going to be more than ready for him to come out.

Michelle, it's fine!! And I might have a c section due to having a narrow pelvis.

Macy, not to be rude but I have better things to do in my spare time than to try out myths that is supposed get me started with labor. Lol.

I know it's 2 weeks but it'll fly if I don't think about it as my mother says, but hey she's not the one carrying the bump!! I'm satisfied with having a date.

He'll either come before my induced date, or he'll come on or the day after my induced date.
