Pregnant And Worried! (first Ultrasound)

Hi everyone! Just looking to chat with
some other expectant mums as I haven't
told any of my friends that I am preggers!
Waiting to be sure that everything is
going well.
In two days I have my first ultrasound and
I am so worried that the baby won't be
there or there will be something wrong.
(last pregnancy was a miscarriage). I am
finding it really hard to be excited and
plan ahead for the future.
I have morning sickness still and sore
breasts though I find it hard to believe
that there is a baby growing inside me
when I can't even feel it! I am 11 weeks
on friday. When do you think I will get a
bump and just cause I can't feel it yet
means it still is there? Right?
At 8 weeks I had a mini ultrasound in the
gynos office and the baby had a stong
heart beat so I am praying that it is
still going strong!
Anyone else worried all the time like me
or am I just being silly?

Before I had my first ultrasound I would
always say to my husband "what if they
look and there is just nothing in there?"
he always laughed at me, but I was
seriously paranoid about it. Even after
that I was still a bit paranoid, even
though I was getting bigger. Now i'm 29
weeks and I think the whole thing is just
funny. Maybe it's because I can feel like
little bugger moving in there all the
time.
Good luck though, I hope everything is
fine with the baby.

My hubby and I lost our last baby too and
I have been feeling alot like you have
been feeling. I was really worried that
they wouldnt' find anything and at my last
visit I thought that they might not find
my skoot's heartbeat and then he/she
wouldn't be in there. I am 16 weeks and
still can't feel my skoot move. I do
have quite a little bump and at night when
I lay on my back I can feel (with my hand)
him/her really well because my tummy gets
really hard. But I can't feel my skoot
move around kicking and stuff and I am
getting desperate to fee him move so that
I can know on a daily basis that he/she is
alive and well.
12 more days till we find out what our
skoot is. Yay.

Well tomorrow is the big ultrasound and I
have been worrying all morning. I really
pray that everything is ok! My dog is
about to give birth to her first litter
any day now so thats a good distraction
from my pregnancy! Lol!
Goodluck with all of your pregnancies
ladies! Thanks for the replies. Glad to
know I am not the only stress head out
here!

I think all of us had that paranoia phase
when we coudn't feel the baby on a daily
basis....
I make 31 weeks on friday and I feel her
all of the time....Seriously...It's
getting to the point where it hurts a lot
of the time....She scares me a lot too!!
Lol...Yalls babies will def. Start moving
all day long whether you like it or not!!
So just sit back and relax and enjoy this
experience....( I didn't relax until I was
about 27 weeks!!!) lol....Everything will
be fine!!
Good luck and let us know what the sex is
if you find out!!

I asked my dr about the stress level that
I am having about loosing this baby too
and he told me that it won't go away until
I have the baby. He said that it will be
eased at the ultrasound when they tell me
everything is ok. I think its
normal....To stress but to goal is to not
stress to the point of raising your blood
pressure.

Well the baby looks good! It was moving
all around though it wouldn't straighten
out for an accurate measurement. It likes
to wave its arms around. Heart beat was
180 beats? Is that ok? 20 weeks and I
can find out the sex, the little devil
wouldn't put its legs down and give us a
look!
Spent the rest of the day imagining that
the ultrasound upset the bub and because I
didn't get morning sickness this afternoon
I am a bit panicky again! Am I stupid or
what?
Have decided not to tell my hubbies family
and our friends until about 4 months. I
want to be safe rather than sorry again!
How is everyone else coping today?

Glad everything went well for u. How much
longer til 20 weeks 4 u?I thought 130-170
was normal but if your doc didnt say ne
thing then im sure its fine. I heard if
its over 150 its a girl and thats was true
for me until last weeks visit when this
boy was 160's. (old wives tale im sure)

I know that it's a really big cliche but I
don't care as long as he/she is healthy.
My hubby wants a boy though. However as
long as we get to have this one, I know we
won't care.
By the way, tigres, did you ever talk to
your hr department regarding the 6-8 weeks
off of work?

Yeah, they said that I can technically
take as much time as my doc wants me to
take. Basically that if she doesn't
clear me, then I can't come back until she
does. Which is cool so I can stay home
with my blue m&m.

that's wierd. I heard the same wives

me if it's over 150 it's a boy. I don't
believe that anyway.

That's why it's an old wives
tale...Lol....
Everyone's old wives tell them this and
it's totally false... It just happens to
be coincidense (sp?)
it's just like the heartburn means the
baby will have a lot of hair...If that's
true...My baby will be chubaca!!! Cuz
i've been suffering from intense heartburn
since my 5th month...And I got 9 loooong
weeks to go!!!

28th of april is 20 weeks for me! Long
way to go yet! I have had a really strong
feeling that it was a girl and so has my
mum though now I am doubting myself and I
really don't have a clue! My husband
wants a boy desperately! I will be happy
with a healthy baby no matter what sex! I
always liked the idea of a little girl
because I love pink clothes!
Hopefully the heart beat was so high at
180 cause the little one was moving around
so much! Don't really know!?!
