Really Sucky Doc Appt. (same As Teen Pregnancy Forum) Posted: 02-22-06 14:12pm
So had an appt today and I thought for
sure it was the real thing cuz last night
I started having contractions and they
went on all night and this morning and im
sure I felt him drop (even tho my ribs beg
to differ) and I feel like im leaking
fluid but I guess its just a lot of
discharge. Well of course when I got to
the docs office they stopped. The midwife
I saw was a total b*tch she was more
concerned about my birth control after the
pregnancy than my actual pregnancy. I
guess it was because I cant wear my
wedding ring right now but she asked me
like 3 times if I was with the same
partner. She checked me and im not
dialated at all and she thinks hes big
about 7lbs. Everytime I tried to ask her
something like last time I was there my
belly measured 35 instead of 33-34 and I
wanted to know what it was this time and
if she thought maybe I was a week farther
than previously thought but she was like
ok see u in 2 weeks and left. I also
think its weird that even tho im 36 weeks
(supposably) I dont have to come back for
2 weeks normal docs. Make u come back
every week after 35. And to add to it
macy would not sit still for anything and
everyone kept looking at me funny cuz she
was being loud and running around. Hello
im freaking 9 months prego w/ a 7 lb baby
what do u want me to do chase her around?
Im so freaking over this pregnancy I
almost wish something would happen so I
could have an emergency c-section right
freaking now! I cant wait 4 more weeks to
pop a 10 lb kid out. In need a pedicure
and a drink but ill have to settle just
for the pedicure for now. Add to add to
it I weigh 70 lbs more than I did this
time 2 years ago b4 both pregnancies and I
really cant stand being fat.

Im so sorry--your having a bad moment. I
know how health care "professionals" can
be. Sometimes--it is like we are
invisible--no one hears anything we say.
This pregnancy will be over soon enough--i
promise. I know how you feel. Believe
me.
Dont worry what other pple think about
your child---if they dont like it im
sorry--kids will be kids. And dont ever
get on to a child just cuz someone else
dont like what they are doing. I mean be
respectful of others, but on the same hand
they need to show respect for you too. I
used to govern how I treated mine--just so
someone else dint get upset--and I found
no matter what you do---there will always
be someone who dont like it. Kids will
be kids--period. I know how pple can
be--it sucks.
It is usually the ones who are so darn old
they forgot how children are--or the ones
who have not had one yet---who will look
at you like they wish you were dead--or
that your child was--you know what I
mean???
I hope your day gets better. That one
girl was saying ---leg massage (with
pedicure)will induce labor--maybe it is
time for that pedicure.

Yep, once you hit those certain places
while having a pedicure, you will go into
labor.
Like fat family said, do not worry about
what others think about your kids after
all, your hormones are kicking in and if
you feel that you should be seen by the dr
in a week, call and let them know.
Sorry that you had such a bad day, put
your feet up, relax, allow your little
girl to run some of that energy out of her
system, she mightbe doing ssome ofthis
because of the baby on the way, a little
jealousy, how old is your little girl?
Just realize that being checked like that
is no picnic and your pregnancy will be
over soon! Tomorrow will be a better
day!
Vent away any day, that is what we are
here for.

as for the pedicure I went to get one the
only problem no one understood what I
wanted about the pressure points for
labor. They all speak broken english and
when I asked the lady doing my pedicure
about it she just smiled, nodded and said
spa pedicure? It was so funny cuz I
wasted all the breath trying to explain it
and she acting like she understood then
she had another lady who speaks a little
better engish about it and I got the same
response so I guess ill just have to do it
myself

I went for a pedacure last night however
they wouldn't give it to be because I am
preggers. I went to two different places
and they wouldnt' give it to me becuase of
the pressure points I guess. Now I just
have painted toes. Posh.

Thats stupid I got a pedicure every 2
weeks with my first kid and ive gotten
like 6 with this kid your pedicure ppl
suck!

Nope I still have 4 weeks according to my
first visit and the last time I was there
I measured bigger so I think they are
wrong and im like 37 1/2 either way I was
told if I go into labor now its fine cuz
hes big enough. I just think pregnancy
lasts to long I want to b a dog or cat
sure they ahve like 4 at a time but they
only have to b preggo for like 9 weeks!

Lol! I know what you mean I was lucky
both mine were born 2 weeks early!
Although I remember waking up every day
after week 35 thinking 'please let it be
today!' ha!
When you did have macy did you miss being
pregnant? I was desperate to get my 1st
baby out but when it happened I really
wanted to be pregnant with him again!
Baby no2 was the same but not so bad I
think I had more to keep my mind occupied
that time!

I had macy by c-section 6 days b4 my due
date because I convinced my doctor to
induce but I wouldnt go past 3 cm
when she was out I was so happy if I
could be the size of like 24 weeks for my
entire pregnancy and still have a healthy
baby then I could b pregnannt happily but
after like 30 weeks im over it!
