Why Cant I Get Pregnant?? Posted: 02-22-06 21:17pm
I got married when I was 18, we were
married for 11yrs...No babies doctor told
me that nothing was wrong....One doctor
did tell me weight was possibly a
problem...Now I have been in a
relationship for 4yrs....No babies...I was
diagnosed with having precancerous cells
in my cervix and they froze them....I have
been fine since 2002...No babies...Now I
have not had a period in almost a yr...So
no babies....I dont ever seem to get
answers from any of the doctors I have
been to...But I have recently moved and
have not been to a gyn yet...So what I am
wondering is do you have any ideas? I am
now 35 and my time is running out if its
not already...I cry myself to sleep some
nites because I want to be a mommy so
bad...Help me please.... :(

Have you gone to an infertility specialist
yet? The infertily doctor for sure is the
one who can help you. There is a reason
why you can't have babies and there is
many treatments and things you can look up
to. Was your husband sperm checked too?

You very best bet is to find a
reproductive endocrinologist in your area.
They are fertility specialists and have
far more education in the field of
fertiltiy than an ob/gyn does.
If you are not getting your period, there
is more than likely an imbalance in your
hormones. Many times that is easily
dealt with...But only through a
specialist.
Sometimes...Women with weight issues also
have pcos, which is a hormonal imbalance
that prevents normal ovulatory cycles.
If I were in your shoes....I would make an
appt with the specialist. If you need
help finding one in your area....I can try
and help you with that!
