First Pregnancy How Long Did You Go Posted: 02-24-06 01:16am
I've heared so many people say that with
your first pregnancy you usually go your
40 weeks sometimes more. But then others
have said that they've had theirs at 36-38
weeks. And since i'm already 34 weeks its
kind of worrying me. So as a first timer
myself I was just curious about those of
you who've had kids when you went into
labour with your first one. I know
everyones pregnancies aren't the same but
like I said i'm just curious. :)
With my first I was 15 days overdue when I
went into labor....... Yeah I know,
pretty ridicules. I labored for 30 hours
and ended up having to have a c-section.
Being that I was 17 days overdue when I
finally gave birth, he was quite a large
baby.. 9lbs 1.5oz!!!

My sisters labour was quite scary, she
went into the first stages of labour on
the saturday, and it gradually got worse
and worse on the sunday, she went into
hospital on the monday and had my neice on
the tuesday morning!!! and she
was 2 weeks overdue!
Hope mine isn't like that!!!!

My first I went into labor at 39 and a
half weeks. Was in labor 6 hours, from
first contraction to birth. It wasn't
that bad. I had no pain meds and no
problems. Don't worry!! My little one
was 6lbs.12oz.

induced on the 4th. (40 wks 1 day) and I
was in labor for 15 1/2 hours but it wasnt
bad at all. It was total worth it all.
My little girl was 8 lbs 10 oz and was 20
1/2 inches long.

come out either.

My 1st baby was born at exactly 38wks, it
was a planned c-section because he was
breech. He weighed 8lbs. I am just
glad I didnt go overdue otherwise he'd
have been a big one!!
